Do you think local media is less bias than national media?

I've notice that even on a local level the media can be kind of 'liberal' at times and just as bad as MSNBC. I've also noticed that during elections the coverage at the local level remains consistent but at that national level both CNN and FOX news seems to go in their own directions. I don't see this polarization on the local level at all. I was wondering if anyone thinks that local media is less bias than its national counterpart.

It certainly couldn't be any worse; a small-time local press depends on local businesses for advertising revenue - ergo, small local papers aren't under the thumb of massive, American-hating crooked global interests that the big, world-wide media sources are.
