A lot of the times, when a person is stressed from working multiple physically demanding labor jobs to make ends meet, they will not have the time or energy to cook healthy foods. So its easier to just go to a fast food drive through.
Now my question is, if buying a healthy meal was as cheap and easy as buying a 2 dollar burger, do you think obesity rates will decrease? It is commonly known that stress and lack of time leads people to buying quickly made fast food, but what if healthy foods was cheaper and made in seconds, I think it will help a lot but I feel it ultimately comes down to willpower and desire to live a healthy life more than anything. What do you think?
It is true in many cases, a quick meal from McDonalds is much cheaper than freshly cooked lean chicken breasts with wholegrain rice, fruits, veggies etc
