I did it known. Dog went after my son. I stepped in, told the owner, if I saw that dog loose again, I would kill it. I look out, see the dog, loose, son is due home from school soon. First, I call work, had the evening shift. Told the manager, I was going to be busy, going to shoot a damn dog, and figure I got to handle the consequences. I put the dog down, call the Sheriff. He is like, no worries. Manager told me he thought that was the most original call out ever.???????????????????????????????????
I have never had a bad or dangerous dog.
I did unknown put down a neighbor's very dangerous dog.
Keep dangerous pets in our neighborhood and see what happens.
Good on you. The owner of the dog I killed was crazy and might have gone after the kids if he had known, so then I would have had to forestall that. Good on you.I did it known. Dog went after my son. I'm the same. I will not tolerate a vicous dog in My neighborhood. We have kids who play here. Luckily, the one clown who liked to let his dog roam moved away.I did it known. Dog went after my son. I love our four legged friends. I will dog and cat rescue in the middle of the night if necessary, the more rain the better.I'm the same. I will not tolerate a vicous dog in My neighborhood. We have kids who play here. Luckily, the one clown who liked to let his dog roam moved away.
Look, I had nothing to do with it, okay?![]()
No, I get it. But a dog is a reflection of the owner. If one has a vicious dog, well we should examine the owner.I'm the same. I will not tolerate a vicous dog in My neighborhood. We have kids who play here. Luckily, the one clown who liked to let his dog roam moved away.

Either capture and control loose dog packs, or kill them.No doubt there are dogs that are prone more to being friendly and there are dogs more prone to being vicious. But, no matter which dog the owner has, the dog needs to be secured on their property or on a leash if outside your property.
Most owners don't know or agree about dog mentality. They are dogs. They are not human. They react, they don't reason. Thus that precious golden retriever which is friendly as hell to everyone, can turn into a vicious dog if he gets lose and starts running with other dogs. The pack mentality.
So many city people move to the country to get away from the dangers of city life. They bring their dogs with them. Because they are in the country they think they can just let their dog loose and roam free. Bad move. Slowly their dogs meet other dogs and become a pack. Which can roam about and come upon peoples homes where kids are playing. And the kids see them, get scared and run, and pack mentality kicks in. Then you get new reports of some child being mauled to death by a bunch of dogs. Or an adult for that matter.
Why? Because of stupid people who think their dog is just like them. Most cities have protective laws against roaming dogs. But in the country you may not. My advice, if one lives in the country and you see one or two dogs come through your land, drop em on the spot. For soon they will be three or four. And then your child or grandchild will be food for them.
Understand that the owners of these roaming dogs don't care if you feed your children to them. And when that happens, no one seems to know who owns those dogs. Don't give roaming dogs a second chance. Give your kids and grandkids a chance.
It happens more than you think.
