Do Progressives have to lie?

With proof that the Obama administration set out to deceive the American people when it sold us their health care plan, the question begs, must Progressives lie in order to get elected?

This is what Obama ran on. He said that he would not raise the taxes of those making less than $250,000 a year. Not only did he raise taxes with the health care law, it ended up becoming the largest tax increase in US history on the MIddle class.
