Do liberals want to control 100% of the economy?

I don't think most liberals consciously want to control 100% of the economy.

Like sheep they are instinctual followers. As long as there is someone (government) who will act as shepherd the sheep smiling and blissfully ignorant will walk into the slaughterhouse.

Fairly and equally? What does that even mean? We all get treated like a George Clooney? We live in mansions like Striesand? Do we all get paid millions for doing what we want to do, like Kobe? How do you define fairly and equally?

To be treated fairly and equally, most everybody wants that. Nobody wants to get the shaft, and most people including conservatives don't want that either, for themselves and anyone else. The problem is that not everybody wants to earn fair and equitable treatment. Should a person who busts ass for 50-60 hours a week get the same fair and equitable treatment as the person who sluffs off and only works 36 hours and checks out? How about the person who could work but doesn't, do we treat him/her the same as the buttbuster?

That is the problem with the liberal mindset. They want equality in outcomes, with no thought to equality on input. Ain't gonna work, that's how you kill initiative and perserverence. Why work hard when I can get by on the gov'ts dole? Why work hard when the gov't will take most of my hard-earned money away from me?

But they don't seem to have any resistance to more and more control, and in fact seem to think we aren't anywhere near close enough yet.

What is ideal for liberals? What is enough? Is there such a thing as too much gov't control (economically-speaking) in their paradigm(s).
