Zone1 do Anglicans see themselves more as Catholics or Protestants?

what do you think?

I doubt they think about it all that much. If they consider it at all they see themselves as catholic (little 'c' meaning universal) and not as Roman Catholics.

I worked for the Episcopalians--the U.S. arm of the Anglican church--for a number of years and have worshiped in several congregations that broke away from the Episcopalians and re-established themselves as Anglican. Don't think the subject ever came up.

One correction to my previous post. One bishop I worked for joked one time that Episcopalians (American Anglican) are just Catholics who can't speak Latin.
