He is only won 2 French Opens because of the domination of NADAL

He plays RUDD in finals
Rudd is a super slick ball striker

You omitted to underline the fact that Nadal's remarkable record in the French Open was helped by his exceptional liking for a clay court surface . And that he is absent this year and unlikely to ever play at this top level again because of age and crippling injuries .
However , that takes nothing away from Djokos amazing record which everybody anticipates will be further cemented tomorrow -- Rudd obviously would not agree. .

It's over! Djokovic wins French Open over Casper Ruud in straight sets! This makes his tally #23 surpassing Fedal's 20-22 majors respectively! Novak is tied w/ Serena Wms. & just 1 behind Margaret Court! He has 3 career GS: 10 AO's, 7 Wimbledons, 3 USO's, & now 3 FO's! He re-acquires the #1 ranking, now set at 388 weeks & counting! Like 2021, he's on course for another big rec., a Calender Year GS! He still needs to pick up his 8th Wimbledon! He's now allowed in the States w/ no Covid vaccine so he'll be at the USO! The records just keep piling up! "Congrats Nole!"

It’ll be an interesting discussion when all is said and done when comparing Federer, Nadal, and Djokavic.

While Novak will have more slams, the fact is he wasn’t winning them while Roger and Nadal were in their prime. Djokavic has really cleaned up post-Federer/Nadal while no other great players have emerged.

Novak wasn't allowed to play the Aussie or US Open due to Vax ban! Even though politically ousted from 2 Majors and 4 Master's events in North America, he still overcame all that to lead w/ 23 Majors & 38 Masters! He re-acquired his #1 ranking and is on his way to being labeled the GOAT! He has every significant record listed on his resume; 7 YE #1's, 388 wks. at #1, 3 CGS, 6 YEC's, 2 Golden Masters (won @ least each M-1000 twice), a Nole-Slam ('15 Wimbl.-'16 FO), & took 3 of 4 Majors 3 times! Djokavic turned pro 2003, from 2003-2010 he won 1 major. From 2003-2010 Federer won 16 majors, Nadal won 9 majors.

From 2003-2010, Federer led the head to head 13-6, 4-2 in slams.

Bottom Line: Djokavic couldn’t beat the big 2 while they were in their prime. His ascent was in line with Federers descent, along with lasting longer physically than Nadal.

??? Not a clue WTF? No matter how you and others feel, the #'s/stats will overrule it all! Ten-20 years from now, historians won't GAF the age discrepancy between Federer & Djokovic or the so called "weak era" theory! A true weak era happened after the void of Sampras! A player like Hewitt shouldn't have been able to hold onto the #1 ranking for over a year w/ no real weapons but his wheels! Agassi was able to steal a few more majors in that void in his 30's as well! No one seems to bring that up! It disrupts their argument against Novak I guess! I've been into tennis since 1970 so I'm a bit of a historian! IMO the all time great would possibly be Laver w/ his 2 Cal. Yr. GS's; 1 as an Am. in '62 & another in '69 when Open tennis occurred in '68! Rod wasn't permitted to play those majors from '63-late '68 due to Pro ban! He probably would eclipse even Fedalovic when 3 of the 4 majors were played on grass! Borg wound up being the BOAT w/ 11 Majors in the pro ranks! Sampras took over w/ 14 and people accepted that even though he never even played a FO final!

Roger slashed the record in less than a decade w/ 15 at '09 Wimbledon win over his personal pigeon, Andy Roddick! I guess you'll say his decline began then even though he hung on for another decade acquiring only 5 more majors! Nadal was beating him like a drum early on, no matter the surface, but Fed was still making SF's & finals! He just wasn't getting past Nadal much or Djokovic at all after 2011! If Roger had retired earlier, I'd give him BOAT, but he destroyed his legacy by allowing Nadovic to destroy him that last decade; esp. Novak in those 3 Wimbledon finals he won over him; '14, '15, & '19!

After 2011, it's been all Djokovic and the Tennis Intelligentsia hasn't been able to stand it! The competition has gotten tougher, but they still give excuses why Novak's won more majors in his 30's than anyone in the history of the game! It doesn't matter, the record books have his name owning every major record including YE #1's w/ 7 & counting, wks. @ #1 (389 & counting), 3 Career GS's (3 of every major), a Double Golden Masters (winning all 9 M-1000's @ least twice), and a ton of others! What else is there to say but to make up reasons why it's all a LIE? That is delusional! Sorry!
