And were you living and had this attitude/view 250 years ago you would have been a Loyalist and likely the current USA would not exist, would have remained a British colonies.I don't consider that last part to be a priority.
I'd have no problem outlawing all privately owned guns.
Here's the problem. The Gun Industry realized their best customers WERE The crazy ones.
They aren't marketing to the guy who buys a gun, sticks it in his closet and forgets about it.
They are marketing to the nut who thinks he needs a stockpile of guns and ammo so they can fights the government.
And not surprisingly, when one of these people goes off the rails, we hear the excuses.
I suggest one simple reform. If you sell a gun to someone who goes out and does something horrific with it, you can be be sued civilly. The Gun store and the gun maker.
I promise you, they will be as cautious as the banks are about who they sell guns to after that.
i.e. your view is anti-Constitution and traitorous.
