I don't consider that last part to be a priority.

I'd have no problem outlawing all privately owned guns.

Here's the problem. The Gun Industry realized their best customers WERE The crazy ones.

They aren't marketing to the guy who buys a gun, sticks it in his closet and forgets about it.

They are marketing to the nut who thinks he needs a stockpile of guns and ammo so they can fights the government.

And not surprisingly, when one of these people goes off the rails, we hear the excuses.


I suggest one simple reform. If you sell a gun to someone who goes out and does something horrific with it, you can be be sued civilly. The Gun store and the gun maker.

I promise you, they will be as cautious as the banks are about who they sell guns to after that.

It's actually shows exactly what black folks are dealing with. When a white boy murders someone the conversation turns to mental illness and gun control, but when the perp is black all we hear is how we are savages, how we are prone to violence, how folks need to arm themselves, etc.

Obviously the guy has mental issues, anyone willing to murder someone over this has mental issues…but that doesn’t excuse his behavior, it’s savage and he should be in prison
