Distinction between my personal distaste for Trump and my support of Trump

The tweets above are petty.. and that's an example of most of Trump's communication.
Yup they were "petty" as Trump WAS NOT politically correct! Trump is first and foremost America First and most politically correct politicians AREN'T! Trump didn't think in terms of what he said or does was best for him. Everyone of the attached statements and policies of Obama and now Biden are antithetical to Trump's position. Geez are you in favor of 1,400 companies going bankrupt laying off 500,000 people and NOT paying $100 Billion in Federal/state and maybe in your city property taxes? You in favor of that as Trump isn't! You, Obama and Biden favor 34 million barrels of oil traveling on the open ocean every month versus 700 barrels traveling 1 mile on dry land? You in favor of destroying the environment like that? Trump approved Keystone that Obama now Biden cancelled.
And look at gas prices today because BIDEN cancelled exploration on federal land that provides 25% of all our gasoline! Trump was increasing leases after Obama reduced leases. Proof but I'm sure your attention span can't handle the truth!

I can't believe that after 10 years you still don't know Keystone XL is a tax scam that would be paid for by US taxpayers.

Pollitically incorrect, was a way of justifying stupidity and bad manners.

There are still oil leases available on Federal land. Your problem is that you don't understand if the ppb is low, exploration and drilling stop because domestic producers can't afford it.

The reason US production doubled when Obama was president was because the ppb was high.

Don't feel bad, Trump doesn't know anything about the oil business either.

Prove Keystone is a "tax scam"! Where is your proof?
Yes there are oil leases that have BEEN explored already. It is NEW oil exploration Leases that has been stopped.
The Biden administration’s suspension of new oil and gas leases on federal land and water was blocked Tuesday by a federal judge in Louisiana who ordered that plans continue for lease sales that were delayed for the Gulf of Mexico and Alaska waters “and all eligible onshore properties.”

Note this is new leases that Biden wanted to ban!
Oil refining long term planners need any excuse to raise gas prices and this certainly is a good excuse when 25% of all gas comes from federal lands.
So by removing future oil exploration on the land that provides 25% of our gas is truly stupid.
FACT: About a quarter (25%) of U.S. oil and an eighth of the nation's natural gas is produced on federal lands.
But day to day planners like you don't plan that far...hence your ignorance!
Again... I provide proof. Where is your proof?

You are defining your lack of character. As long as you can see accomplishments, you can ignore his failures and damage he does to so many others and to the country.

You're defining yours. You support Biden who doesn't have a genuine bone in his body AND he's useless AND he's dangerous.

Trump is kind of like my boss. My boss is a bit of a dick and talks to much but I can't argue that he isn't good. I don't always like his personality but he knows how to do his job.

I may not have always liked Trump but he was good at his job. I'd rather have someone I didn't like as a person but gets good results than the other way around.

I don't care about the presidents personality as long as he does what's best for America and loves America.

I lived in NY and worked with people like Trump. Nouveau riche. Braggarts. Pompous. Boisterous. Someone you really don't like personally. These people like Trump some were my bosses. Some co-workers. BUT like Trump they got things done!
Now what makes me intellectually better than most Anti-Trumpers is this distinction.
I acknowledge his personal foibles. I acknowledge I don't like him personally.
BUT he gets things done! He is accomplishing things.

My minor observation aside: very good point you make.

I happen to agree that Pres. Trump has some deficits as a human being. His tendency to be a braggart and what seems to be a shallow philosophy on many things is troublesome. But he was a person of real force as President.

Furthermore, he seems to have almost instinctively understood that the modern version of American “liberalism” and “progressive” politics was dangerously antithetical to our National and personal interests.

I appreciate the distinction the OP draws.

Trump is kind of like my boss. My boss is a bit of a dick and talks to much but I can't argue that he isn't good. I don't always like his personality but he knows how to do his job.

I agree 100% with what you wrote as I've had bosses just like you described! Dicks for sure but get things DONE! Trump is Never Politically correct!

Just out of curiosity..

Trump campaigned on infrastructure....He never got it done. Why?

Trump campaigned on getting us out of Afghanistan. He never got it done. Why?

Trump campaigned on building a wall...he never got it done. Why?

Trump campaigned on replacing Obamacare with "something terrific". He never got it done. Why?

4 big campaign promises...4 miserable failures. Your move.

This is where you change your "at least Trump got things done" bullshit to blaming someone--ANYONE--else.

The left can't be reasoned with on this issue. They vote with their "feelings" and thats simply not something you can debate. You just have to accept that they are fucking idiots and move on.

Trump's most lasting impact on the country will be the reshaping of the federal judiciary.

By December 2019, Trump nominees made up roughly 25% of all US circuit court judges, according to an analysis by The Washington Post.

  • It permanently slashed the corporate tax rate to 21% from 35% while also providing temporary benefits for individuals and their families.
Trump signed the First Step Act into law in December 2018, marking the first legislative victory in years for advocates seeking to reform the criminal justice system.
  • The passage of the bill ... marked the first major legislative win in decades to address mass incarceration at the federal level.
  • The bill overhauls certain federal sentencing laws, reducing mandatory minimum sentences for drug felonies and expanding early-release programs.
  • The bill also makes retroactive a 2010 federal sentencing law reducing the sentencing disparity between crack and powder cocaine offenses.
After a five-year effort led by the US, ISIS's caliphate was finally defeated in March 2019.
Baghdadi was the world's most wanted terrorist up to that point and his death represented a major blow to the terrorist group.
"Last night, the United States brought the world's No. 1 terrorist leader to justice," Trump said at the time. "Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is dead."
Now if you still don't think Trump got it done...

Oh and one more accomplishment..

Biden orders reversal of Trump’s ‘energy independence’ policies

“Restricting development on federal lands and waters is nothing more than an ‘import more oil’ policy,” Mike Sommers, president of the American Petroleum Institute, said.

“With this move, the administration is leading us toward more reliance on foreign energy from countries with lower environmental standards and risks to hundreds of thousands of jobs and billions in government revenue for education and conservation programs.”

And where is your proof? Just bull shit subjective, no links, no proof!

He said he wanted the troops home. He failed.

Infrastructure:

He said he wanted an infrastructure bill. He failed.

Healthacre:

He promised insurance for everybody... And...

"something terrific" It wasn't terrific; it was literally nothing. Your blob; once again. Failed.

Border Wall:

Here is his own white house celebrating the pitiful "45th mile of new border wall"

PS: Mexico never sent the check.

He promised a wall. He failed.

So to recap:

He promised a replacement to Obamacare, a new border wall, and infrastructure bill, and to leave Afghanistan. This was just 4 areas where your blob failed miserably.

I thought you liked Presidents who got things done. Like Biden for example...

He's distributed vaccines where your blob failed. He's added jobs every month of his presidency (I think). He's gotten us out of Afghanistan (where your blob failed). He's passed a larger stimulus (like your blob wanted to do--and failed). He's passed infrastructure--again where your blob failed.

C'mon...tell us why you're supporting such a big fat failure?

NOW here is what Trump got done!
Trump's most lasting impact on the country will be the reshaping of the federal judiciary.
Trump installed three Supreme Court justices and 226 judges overall to the federal bench — all for lifetime appointments. Amy Coney Barrett became Trump's third Supreme Court justice on October 26, barely a week before Election Day.
And every one of them laughed their ass off at his pathetic "I was robbed" voter fraud screams.

AND YOU ARE a f...king liar! Prove EVERY ONE! Why do you exaggerate let alone provide any proof! Don't you ever comprehend that when you make "every one" statement that is totally an exaggeration? Oh right... stupidity doesn't know the difference!

Trump installed three Supreme Court justices and 226 judges overall to the federal bench — all for lifetime appointments. Amy Coney Barrett became Trump's third Supreme Court justice on October 26, barely a week before Election Day.
By December 2019, Trump nominees made up roughly 25% of all US circuit court judges, according to an analysis by The Washington Post.

In signing a $738 billion defense spending bill just a few days before Christmas, Trump officially established the sixth branch of the US Armed Forces — the Space Force.
The Space Force is the first new military service since the US Air Force was created in 1947.

You know I never believed half of what Trump said. He's a braggart, loud mouth and above all
NOT politically correct! But the half I did believe truly ignorant people like you that are so pompous you can't see success that Trump did in just 3 years!
Trump said a lot of things that were overblown...BUT he had too because the biased MSM which you don't seem to comprehend (see attached articles how the BIASED MSM donated 96% to Hillary/ 90% to Biden...) that Trump had to blown things out of proportion to get slivers of truth out!
Truth like...corporations didn't pay federal taxes as they shipped trillions overseas...not taxed.
Trump brought back

U.S. companies have repatriated $1 trillion since tax overhaul

But dumb people don't realize WHAT that $1 trillion did!
A) First of all there WAS a Federal TAX of in the tax rate on repatriated earnings from the statutory rate of 35 percent to 5.25 percent for a one-year. $50 Billion!
B) This $950 billion then was used in many ways that evidently go over your head as the only
place dummies saw this was in stock buy backs... which did happen. BUT what happened
to the money the bought back stockholders do?
And yet dummies like the MSM just couldn't find the GOOD in the repatriation so they bitched and moaned it didn't reach the levels Trump said!
Again... think about that!

Trump fails the first test of leadership. He's incapable of building consensus for the laws and policies he promotes. So, instead, he does the opposite. Like Obama before him, he believes "elections have consequences" and delights in slamming through unpopular policies - policies that only his base supports - even when it creates bitter division in society. In fact, the bitter division seems to be a goal. He wallows in it.

And he's encouraged an legion of trolls to join him. They are, literally, before our eyes, destroying our nation.
