How many times have ignorant and uneducated poeple have asked this question over the past 50 or 60 years.

Have you noticed that no church has ever questioned this? Why is that?

Look at your own history and laws, you maybe surprised to find that marrying from such a young age was common practice up ujntil the 1970,s and 80’s.

Just look at ELvis and Priscilla, how old was she when they started dating? has anyone questioned this?

Look at Princess Matilda, how old was she when she married the German Prince?

EVE'S FAULT
The three religions agree on one basic fact: Both women and men are created by God, The Creator of the whole universe. However, disagreement starts soon after the creation of the first man, Adam, and the first woman, Eve. The Judaeo-Christian conception of the creation of Adam and Eve is narrated in detail in Genesis 2:4-3:24.

God prohibited both of them from eating the fruits of the forbidden tree. The serpent seduced Eve to eat from it and Eve, in turn, seduced Adam to eat with her. When God rebuked Adam for what he did, he put all the blame on Eve, "The woman you put here with me --she gave me some fruit from the tree and I ate it."

Consequently, God said to Eve:


"I will greatly increase your pains in childbearing; with pain you will give birth to children. Your desire will be for your husband and he will rule over you."
To Adam He said:

"Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree .... Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life..."


The Islamic conception of the first creation is found in several places in the Quran, for example:


"O Adam dwell with your wife in the Garden and enjoy as you wish but approach not this tree or you run into harm and transgression. Then Satan whispered to them in order to reveal to them their shame that was hidden from them and he said: 'Your Lord only forbade you this tree lest you become angels or such beings as live forever.' And he swore to them both that he was their sincere adviser. So by deceit he brought them to their fall: when they tasted the tree their shame became manifest to them and they began to sew together the leaves of the Garden over their bodies. And their Lord called unto them: 'Did I not forbid you that tree and tell you that Satan was your avowed enemy?' They said: 'Our Lord we have wronged our own souls and if You forgive us not and bestow not upon us Your Mercy, we shall certainly be lost' " (723).


A careful look into the two accounts of the story of the Creation reveals some essential differences. The Quran, contrary to the Bible, places equal blame on both Adam and Eve for their mistake. Nowhere in the Quran can one find even the slightest hint that Eve tempted Adam to eat from the tree or even that she had eaten before him.

Eve in the Quran is no temptress, no seducer, and no deceiver. Moreover, Eve is not to be blamed for the pains of childbearing. God, according to the Quran, punishes no one for another's faults. Both Adam and Eve committed a sin and then asked God for forgiveness and He forgave them both.

They have certainly disbelieved who say, ‘Allah is the third of three.’ And there is no god except one God. And if they do not desist from what they are saying, there will surely afflict the disbelievers among them a painful punishment.


So will they not repent to Allah and seek His forgiveness? And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

The Messiah, son of Mary, was not but a messenger; [other] messengers have passed on before him. And his mother was a supporter of truth. They both used to eat food. Look how We make clear to them the signs; then look how they are deluded”

The books of the New Testament were written by people with an excellent grasp of Koine Greek, so it is very likely that they spoke Greek in their daily lives as a first language. References made to the Old Testament are consistently to the Greek Septuagint (LXX), not to the Hebrew scriptures, providing good evidence that the authors were familiar with the Greek source rather than the Hebrew source.

The gospel authors did not claim to have been inspired by God,


None of the New Testament authors knew Jesus. None of the New Testament authors knew anyone who had known Jesus and who could help him write about Jesus.


The four New Testament gospels are attributed to Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, but were originally anonymous until attributed to them by he Church Fathers later in the second century.

The general epistles are variously attributed to James, Peter, John and Jude, but most scholars dispute at least some of these attributions.


The authors of Matthew and Luke certainly elaborated on what they received from Mark’s Gospel as well as adding further material of doubtful origin. On the one hand, they probably believed in the substance of Mark’s Gospel, but were not averse to adding material they knew not to be literally true.

I find it hard to believe that the author of John actually believed that his sources were entirely factual or that he intended to write a gospel that was a true narrative of Jesus.

The most common reason people doubt the historical accuracy of stories like the creation and flood in the Bible, is that we now know that these stories do not describe what really happened. We can also see parallels between the biblical myths and earlier
Mesopotamian myths that could have inspired those in the Bible.

We know that the apostle Paul wrote the epistles now known as Romans, 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians, Philemon, Galatians, Philippians and 1 Thessalonians. Other epistles attributed to him but rejected by most New Testament scholars as inauthentic are: 2 Thessalonians, Ephesians, Colossians, 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy and Titus. Also at one stage, Hebrews was attributed to Paul but he was so clearly not the author that this attribution is rarely discussed.


The apostle Paul seems to have genuinely believed in Jesus, to the extent that he sincerely believed that Jesus would return in his own lifetime. I suppose the fact that the parousia did not come true means that he was, to at least some extent, deluded.




It is unlikely that Paul did have that experience on the road to Damascus, as portrayed no less than three times in Acts of the Apostles

By and large, we do not know who wrote the New Testament, but we do know that the books that now form the New Testament were all written by the middle of the second century.

The book has stood the test of time. It was revealed 1400 years ago. Still every part,word, alphabet of the Quran has been maintained in its true form as it was revealed. Even today no two quran in any corner in the world would differ a single word. Historic copies of the quran would be found the same.
So primarily, the book was not changed or modified never in the past decades no matter what and significantly because it did not need to be changed.


Everything in the quran was applicable 1400 years ago and is still applicable today without any modification which is a miracle in itself.
Secondly, if anyone would like to question the quran, he/she has the freedom to prove one of its statements to be false. A lot of geographical, scientific, astronomical and historic statements...... etc have been made in the quran.
All they have to do is prove otherwise.

However, history is proof that the best of scientists, historians, doctors and philisophers could not prove a single statement false.

There can be several forms of saving man from death. A man may be ill or wounded, irrespective of his nationality, race or colour. If you know that he is in need of your help, then it is your duty that you should arrange for his treatment for disease or wound. If he is dying of starvation, then it is your duty to feed him so that he can ward off death. If he is drowning or his life is at stake, then it is your duty to save him.

You will be surprised to hear that the Talmud, the religious book of the Jews, contains a verse of similar nature, but records it in altogether different form. It says: "Whoever destroyed a life of the Israelite, in the eyes of the Scripture, it is as if he destroyed the whole world. And whoever protected and saved one life of the Israelite, in the light of the Scripture, it is as if he saved the whole world." Talmud also contains the view that if a non-Israelite is drowning and you tried to save him then you are a sinner. Can it be given a name other than racialism?

We regard it as our duty to save every human life, because it is thus that we have been enjoined in the Holy Quran.

Muhammad was a false prophet and created the most vile and evil religion on the planet. The only ones that were worse were the Pagan ones that sacrificed humans to appease their gods.
Muhammad hated dogs. Dogs are the most loyal animals on the planet. They are more loyal than wives and even sons and daughters. All you have to do is feed them, scratch/pet them and play with them and they will follow you and try to save you. They can sniff out illegal drugs, find and attack hiding criminals, protect animal stock and protect your children. I am sure that Muhammad hated dogs because they sensed that he was evil and didn't like him.
Islam allows minor girls to be married off and forced into sex while still children. Islam treats women as second-class citizens and even less in some areas. Islam considers women's testimony in court to be worth only half that of a man's. Islam demands that there be four male witnesses to the rape of a woman, as if some male is stupid enough to ensure that he assaults a woman sexually in public.
The religion needs to be expunged. Period!

As a result, distorted historical stories about the Holy Prophet ﷺ were spread in the Western world mainly by church leaders. They were unwilling to study the Holy Prophet ﷺ objectively or to refer to such authentic texts. Church men were trying to hide the individual effect of the Holy Prophet ﷺ to the best of their ability. Often, they imposed ideas against the basic tenets of Islam on the Holy Prophet ﷺ.

Did the Prophet (peace be upon him) say that dogs should be killed?

Some non-Muslims take a few ahadith about dogs out of context and use them as anti-Muslim rhetoric. They cite them as “proof” that Muslims hate dogs and are cruel to animals.

Sadly, even some Muslims do not understand the context of these ahadith.

As Imam Ederer writes, “The problem with cultural Islam is that much of it is an exaggeration of scripture. People go overboard in their interpretation or application of our scripture. The case with Muslims’ aversion to dogs is indeed rooted in authentic ahadith . . . Some of these ahadith, when read by themselves, do indeed give that idea. Most people do not know the scholarly discourse on such ahadith, especially when it comes to combining the texts or understanding their application in juristic derivation.”
What are the misunderstood ahadith about dogs?

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “If dogs weren’t a nation among God’s creation, I would have commanded you to kill all of them. So just kill the jet black one.” (Tirmidhi, 1486)

Another hadith says: “Someone asked Abu Dharr, ‘What feature is there in a black dog which distinguishes it from the red dog and the yellow dog?’ He said: ‘O, son of my brother, I asked the Messenger of Allah as you are asking me, and he said: The black dog is a devil.’” (Muslim, 4:299).

At face value, these ahadith do seem harsh. Why would the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) want to kill dogs, or call them a “devil?” After all, this is the same Prophet who prohibited the killing of any living creature without reason.

Most scholars believe that these pronouncements had to do with an outbreak of rabies. At the time that he (peace be upon him) made these statements, there was likely a certain type of black dog that was rabid or violent, and the Prophet (peace be upon him) knew that people’s health and safety were at stake. When the problem abated, the Prophet (peace be upon him) abrogated his statement. Therefore, Muslims today are not allowed to kill dogs unless they pose a significant threat.

Did the Prophet (peace be upon him) say anything nice about dogs?

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “A Muslim man was walking in the desert dying of thirst when he found a well. He went down to drink, and upon coming out, he noticed a dog panting hard, dying of thirst. So he climbed back in and filled his shoe with water. He gave the dog to drink and God forgave his sins. The companions then asked the Prophet, ‘Are we rewarded for helping beasts?’ The Prophet then said, ‘Helping any living thing has a reward!’” (Bukhari)

While on a military expedition to Mecca, the Prophet (peace be upon him) passed by a mother dog lying in their path with her pups suckling from her. To prevent her from being harmed, he ordered one of his Companions to guard her, lest any of the oncoming army disturb or harm them (Imtāʿ al-Asmāʿ, al-Muqrizi).
Some people just . . . don’t like dogs

Let us not forget that Muslims are regular humans who have likes and dislikes. Their personality, upbringing, culture, and even allergies can influence their reactions to dogs. For many people who did not grow up in the West, the concept of having pampered dogs who live like family members, sleeping with humans in the same bed and sharing plates and bowls, is unheard of. Many people’s exposure to dogs in their youth was minimal; they either saw wild dogs that ran through the streets causing trouble, or guard dogs, who were to be avoided and feared.

Some Muslims (and non-Muslims) have been attacked or bitten by dogs, and their inherent fear is completely justifiable. Dog owners would be considerate to remember that not everyone is a fan of dogs for various reasons. No matter how much they love their pet, they should not assume that strangers –whether Muslim or not – want to interact with it.
In conclusion:

Dogs are one of the creations of Allah, and Muslims are commanded to treat all living things with kindness and compassion.
However, Muslims are allowed to kill an animal that is dangerous or vicious.
Most scholars of Islam believe dogs are unclean; a minority believe they are pure.
Muslims generally don’t have dogs as pets, but might keep them as working animals like guard dogs or sheep dogs.
In many parts of the world, dogs are not seen as indoor pets. Due to negative experiences or cultural biases, some people have an innate fear of them.
In general, it is safest for dog owners to ask Muslims how they feel about dogs before letting their pet approach them – even if their pet is gentle and friendly.

V. The Legal/Political Aspect​

1. Both genders are entitled to equality before the law and courts of law. Justice is genderless.

Most references to testimony (witness) in the Qur'an do not make any reference to gender. Some references fully equate the testimony of males and female.

And for those who launch a charge against their spouses and have (in support) no evidence but their own their solitary evidence (can be received) if they bear witness four times (with an oath) by Allah that they are solemnly telling the truth; And the fifth (oath) (should be) that they solemnly invoke the curse of Allah on themselves if they tell a life. But take witnesses whenever you make a commercial contract; and let neither scribe nor witness suffer harm. If you do (such harm) it would be wickedness in you. So fear Allah; for it is Allah that teaches you. And Allah is well acquainted with all things. (Qur'an 2:282)

A few comments on this text are essential in order to prevent common misinterpretations:

a) It cannot be used as an argument that there is a general rule in the Qur'an that the worth of a female's witness is only half the male's. This presumed "rule" is voided by the earlier reference (24:69) which explicitly equates the testimony of both genders in the issue at hand.

b) The context of this passage (ayah) relates to the testimony on financial transactions which are often complex and laden with business jargon. The passage does not make a blanket generalization which would otherwise contradict 24:69 cited earlier.

c) The reason for variations in the number of male and female witnesses required is given in the same passage. No reference was made to the inferiority or superiority of one gender's witness or the other's. The only reason given is to corroborate the female's witness and prevent unintended errors in the perception of the business deal. The Arabic term used in this passage (tadhilla) means literally "loses the way," "gets confused or errs." But are females the only gender that may err and need corroboration of their testimony. Definitely not, and this is why the general rule of testimony in Islamic law is to have two witnesses even if they are both males. This leaves us with only one reasonable interpretation that in an ideal Islamic society as envisioned by Islamic teachings the female members will give priority to their feminine functions as wives, mothers, and pioneers of charitable works. This emphasis, while making them more experienced in the inner function of the family

and social life, may not give them enough exposure and experience to business transactions and terminology, as such a typical Muslim woman in a truly Islamic society will not normally be present when business dealings are negotiated and if may present may not fully understand the dealings. In such a case, corroboration by two women witnesses helps them remind one another and as such give an accurate account of what happened.

d) It is useful to remember that it is the duty of a fair judge, in a particular case, to evaluate the credibility, knowledge and experience of any witness and the specific circumstances of the case at hand.

The head of state in Islam is not a ceremonial head. He leads public prayers in some occasions, constantly travels and negotiates with officials of other states (who are mostly males). He may be involved in confidential meetings with them. Such heavy involvement and its necessary format may not be consistent with Islamic guidelines related to the interaction between the genders and the priority of feminine functions and their value to society. Furthermore, the conceptual and philosophical background of the critics of this limited exclusion is that of individualism, ego satisfaction, and the rejection of the validity of divine guidance in favor of other man-made philosophies, values, or "ism." The ultimate objective of a Muslim man or woman is to selflessly serve Allah and the ummah in whatever appropriate capacity.

It is a Quranic injunction that to establish the crime of adultery or fornication, four witnesses are required to testify the act. Rape, however, is a different crime altogether, in that the act of having sexual intercourse is performed through coercion or some kind of pressure on the victim.

However, we need to understand the position of the judge or the court. They cannot get to establish whether someone is actually a victim of rape and not only claiming to be so, until they have investigated the circumstances under which the alleged crime took place.

To establish that the alleged act falls under rape and was not consensual, the judge will require witnesses to be able to proceed under Islamic law. Since a perpetrator of rape will be dealt with under a hadd (statutory punishment prescribed by Allah the Almighty), the hadd can only be established if they give a confession or if four witnesses come forward to testify. This process of investigation is also prescribed by Allah the Almighty. No worldly court or judge has the discretion to alter the process of investigation or the punishment.

Once it is clear that four witnesses are not available, the matter will automatically move from hadd to tazir. This means that the judge would go through any evidence provided by the claimant, which can include evidence based on modern technology like CCTV footage and forensic tests etc.

Therefore, the question that whether a victim of rape is required to provide four witnesses is only valid once it has been established by the court that the claimant is a victim of rape and not involved in consensually illicit relationship with the accused. Thereafter, the victim will have to provide any available evidence for further investigation,

A comparison between the status of women in the Qur’an and the Bible





Christians claim that women should be subjugated to men in islam

1. The Bible convicts women as the original sinners (i.e. Eve picking from the forbidden tree) (Genesis 2:4-3:24)



The Qur’an clarifies that it was both Adam and Eve at fault, equally. For example, in Sura’ al-Baqarah, Allaah says:



“fa azallaHUMAA ash-shayTaan..” meaning “And Satan caused them (DUAL) to err..”



The same is found in Qur’an 7:19-25 wherein it says:



“fa-waswasa laHUMAA ash-shayTaan..” meaning “So Satan whispered to them (DUAL)”.

NOTE: Nowhere in the Bible does it forbid polygamy, or says that the male must marry one woman. Single marriage is a Greco-Roman tradition – one of the many influences on the true teachings of Jesus. Jesus lived for 33 years among a nation that practiced polygamy and he never prohibited, nor even ever talked about it in his teachings.



7. “If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered, he shall pay the girl’s father fifty shekels of silver. He must marry the girl, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives” (Deuteronomy 22:28-30)



One must ask a simple question here, who is really punished, the man who raped the woman or the woman who was raped? According to the Bible, you have to spend the rest of your life with the man who raped you, and therefore had obviously low morals.



However, even before the marriage women in Islam are given right to choose their husband, and they can even reject if they are forced to marry somebody. In a hadith narrated by Aisha’, the Prophet said, “It is essential to have the consent of a virgin (for the marriage)”.



Other similar hadith are as follows:



Narrated Abu Hurairah r.a, that the Prophet said, “A divorcee cannot be forced to marry before she agrees, and a virgin cannot be forced to marry before her permission is obtained. The Sahaba’ asked “How can we obtain her permission?” The Prophet said, “Her permission is when she keeps quiet.” (Muslim)



Ibn Abbas reported that a girl came to the Messenger of Allah Muhammad and she reported that her father had forced her to marry without her consent. The Messenger of Allah gave her the choice (between accepting the marriage and invalidating it). (Ibn Hanbal)

Islam gives the best way of life and I challenge anyone to give a better way of life. One, the supernatural contains no explanatory power. If their is a mystery, appealing to a bigger mystery only complicates, not explains the situation.



Two, it contradicts most of what we learn about the cosmos and how it works. This is due to the fact that it was written by bronze age and iron age shepherds.



Three it upholds immorality. The bible holds that slavery is ok, rape and murder done in the name of god is acceptable. Genocide is god’s past time. Racism and homophobia his M.O.



Four, it is not supported by evidence. The claims made in the bible are first, second or even third hand accounts. They are not supported by third party neutral accounts, geological records and so on.











Here we have a document. Well, more accurately, many many version of a document because it’s been translated many times over many centuries and in widely-differing societies and each time new nuances and preconceptions are, wittingly or unwittingly, introduced by the translators. How should we translate the Greek word παρϑενον (‘parthenon’) in Luke 1.26? A young woman? Or a virgin? It makes a huge difference to how what follows is interpreted.



Some versions are not translations so much as paraphrases so they will reflect the standpoint of the paraphraser even more. Which version is authoritative? Can a translation ever be authoritative? How many of us can read the Koine Greek of the New Testament (not that hard to learn, superficially, for anybody who wants to make the effort). How many can read the Aramaic of the Old Testament? (Much harder).



And then, it’s not a single document, it’s an anthology of many different writings. What is canon and what isn’t?



There is no consistent guidance and I’d be prepared to bet that you cannot find three verses in the Bible that are not at least partially contradicted elsewhere in the same tome. It is at least partly why Christianity is now broken up into 5 main denominations and maybe 33,000 sub-denominations. I mean, if you all agreed on all the guidance in the Bible, then surely that wouldn’t happen.
