I found this show on BBC America and though it is a bit strange, it's a pretty good show. If you watched and liked the Elijah Wood show Wilfred, you might like this show too. It is a bit Sci-Fi.

Friends of mine from England gave me the book to read about a year ago.....love Douglas Adams. Another one who went too soon.

There are 8 episodes in season 1 and it has been renewed for a season 2.

Sadly, Adams' work hasn't seemed to translate well to the screen. I haven't tried Dirk Gently, though.
