I cannot stand the woke, even though I have not seen it I can no longer stomach most of what Hollywood produces, this is not the main reason, the main reason is you have to suspend belief to watch these shows, which influences me more not to watch than the wokeness that seems to be standard issue in all storylineswas

I’m out , episode 2 was a stinker ( the ending was as bad as the “ Lost “ ending of the final episode .

Wow - as expected - the show has lost 33.5% of it's viewers in the last 2 episodes.
1) They should have done a "Darrell" like Walking Dead did. Darrell character was supposed to die in the 1st or 2nd season, but he was a fan favorite so they kept him. Joel was - by far - the best character in The Last of Us. It isn't even close.
Let him die? - yeah that was stupid.
2) Who the f*ck wants to watch an entire episode that was essentially a romance between the two girls?? Did you really think that is why people watched this show??????

They lost us after that episode, we did not watch the next episode, and won't watch anymore. And no - it isn't because of two gay characters, it is because Ellie is not an interesting enough character to carry a show, and holy hell the girlfriend sure isn't either.
You take a great storyline and got rid of everything that was good, to make it about two teenage girls falling for each other. Umm... WTF?

The joke of it is, two girls barely 18 are going to go up against actual soldiers and they think they can win?

Staying true to the game is not a necessity, and they aren't doing that either.
Ellie wasn't an announced lesbian in the game - the producer doubled down on this season making Ellie gay and highlighting it - his words. Stupid as hell. That is not why people were watching the show.
It could have been Ellie and a teen boy and it would be no different. She is not that interesting enough of a character, and not a good enough actress to carry it either.
And her lesbian sidekick can barely act at all.

And just like that, they may very well get canceled - all because they insisted on highlighting Ellie's sexuality.

I bet they will" and then, if they have a talented production team and some decent actors, as well as a good story (like this one) it will smash.

But most of these series I skip, not interested in wokeness and can't sit through much of it.
