Komodo Dragons are no joke, their "kisses" can be lethal....From what I understand they bite live prey and follow it around till it is paralyzed.....They eat dead stuff too.

their saliva rots the skin and flesh and I think its also poison that slowly kills you,, they just bite you and then follow til you drop

I've seen several documentaries about those things.

In one of them they got a pregnant doe that was in labor. One of them ripped open the doe's gut and gulped down it's faun.
Didn't even chew. Just swallowed the fetus alive, whole. Must have been a Democrat.

Those things must have a hell of a digestive system.

And they are cannibalistic too. The young juveniles live in the trees to avoid being eaten by the adults.
