‘Dilbert’ cartoonist Scott Adams dies at 68

That guy who just got off the boat didn't experience generations of institutionalized racism, did he?

Um, we are all the same species. The thing is, when you get different breeds of dogs together, they generally tend to get along.

Humans like to get tribal- Race, Religion, Nationality... and there's no good reason for it.

Or he was trying to stir up some controversy, as his merch and distribution sales were declining, and it blew up in his face.
"That guy who just got off the boat didn't experience generations of institutionalized racism, did he?" - JoeB131

First, unless his lifespan is measured in centuries rather than decades he won't personally experience your fabricated "generations of institutionalized racism", rather the results of such. If that were true. But then we've experienced your poor communication skills so no surprise you can't accurately express your half-brained thoughts.

Coming over from Africa, he likely did experience results of generations of colonialism and if you had half the intelligence you think you do, you'd know that the European administration of those colonies could be as bad or worse than USA "racism". Not to mention he might also have experienced current tribalism and ethnic frictions, etc. within the Black population there. And maybe racism and slavery if coming from an Islamic dominated area.

Human evolution was tribal, and we can notice such in other species. Many apes and primates tend to be tribal in their social structures and often hostile to other "tribes" of the same species. There may be "no good reason for it" but it is there and has been for eons, and will take a lot of effort to overcome and reduce~remove.

We humans also add in ideology to that mix of "Race, Religion, Nationality" and see such here on this Board and in this thread, Komrade "joe"

I don't know, or care, what race or ethnic you are "joe" but I've seen the ideological color of your mind, Komrade "joe" and I'm in the opposite camp/side/polarity and don't see much room for compromise. Especially from your side since you tend to be rigid locked in your "ideology", plus I've strong doubts about the background you claim to have/be in your pravda.

I enjoyed Dilbert for years. But, one day, he posted something deemed offensive, and papers across the country dropped him. He set up a website to continue his cartoons, but he made it a paywall. I never signed up for it. - Morte

“Dilbert” cartoonist Scott Adams is dead at 68 after a battle with prostate cancer.
The satirist from Windham died following a long battle with prostate cancer, according to his ex-wife, Shelly Miles. She announced the news on Tuesday during a live stream on his YouTube channel, Coffee with Scott Adams, reading a statement Adams prepared prior to his death .

“I had an amazing life,” the statement said in part. “I gave it everything I had.”

The comic artist frequently gave fans updates about his condition, which had spread to his bones, after announcing in May that he expected “to be checkin’ out from this domain sometime this summer.”

A sad end preface by victimization by the cancel culture.

Oh, you mean like Affirmative Action?
The primary beneficiaries of Affirmative Action have been - wait for it - WHITE WOMEN.

That may be. But it's a reality. Deal with it.
Nope, the reality is we have 17% of Marriages are interracial (including my own). Your bigotry is on the way out.

who's morality? the liberals at the paper and it was not a racist rant, it was sociology 101
Nope, it was a racist rant, and Adams should have shown some sense that

1) Only about 24% of blacks recognized "It's okay to be white" is a racist trope.
2) it came from Rasmussen, a pollster noted for shoddy methods.

nope, see above and he did not suggest bringing back segregation, many people hang out with their own culture and segregate themselves, it's not forced it's voluntary

Not really. If that were the case, white folks wouldn't be screaming their heads off when a black family gets a section 8 voucher to move into their nice neighborhood.

Segregation still exists because of economic inequality, not because of "choice".

not exactly, chinatown was to create a place so they felt like home but were not home
No, they were specifically created to segregate the "Coolies" (Chinese laborers brought over for cheap labor because slavery was illegal now) from the nice white people. When that wasn't good enough, they passed the Chinese Exclusion Act to keep more from coming over

See, America, you've always been like this!!!

If that were true. But then we've experienced your poor communication skills so no surprise you can't accurately express your half-brained thoughts.

The point is, he never encountered Jim Crow, or Miscegenation Laws, or lynchings, or police brutality, which many blacks in this country have or their immediate family have. This is a racist society, and "being better than the poor country I just came from" doesn't make it okay.

Except, not really. African Colonization was never really that deep in most places. You had some trading port that was all the white folks, and in the interior of the country, people just got on with their lives.

The population of Nigeria was only 30 Million in 1952. How many white people do you think lived there doing the "Oppressing"?

Human evolution was tribal, and we can notice such in other species. Many apes and primates tend to be tribal in their social structures and often hostile to other "tribes" of the same species. There may be "no good reason for it" but it is there and has been for eons, and will take a lot of effort to overcome and reduce~remove.

Actually, I would hope we are going to be better than "apes", given most Ape species are on the edge of extinction.

We humans also add in ideology to that mix of "Race, Religion, Nationality" and see such here on this Board and in this thread, Komrade "joe"

So let me know what you think I've lied about in my background, and when I bring the receipts, do you promise to leave the board and never come back?

Well, that's still wrong.
The game has been rigged, one way or the other. And it's still wrong.
Nope, the reality is we have 17% of Marriages are interracial (including my own). Your bigotry is on the way out.

MY bigotry?
**** you, asshole.

Scott Adams was so much smarter and principled than you, it's not even funny. He knew exactly what he was doing, which was pointing out the hypocrisy of the social fabric.

People have a right to live where they want and who they want to live with ... if they can afford it, not have it handed to them by Uncle Sam.

See, America, you've always been like this!!!
You bring up bullshit from 150 years ago as if it holds up now.
Your side is pathetic.

Well, that's still wrong.
The game has been rigged, one way or the other. And it's still wrong.

No, the game is just being made a little fairer.

In my career, I've lost out on opportunities to Affirmative Action Hires.
I've also lost out on opporutnities due to Nepo-Babies.

But the reality is, being a white, straight, cisgender male has given me all sorts of privileges just by being here.

MY bigotry?
**** you, asshole.
You are a bigot. Deal with it. Then try to be better.
Scott Adams was so much smarter and principled than you, it's not even funny. He knew exactly what he was doing, which was pointing out the hypocrisy of the social fabric.

Scott Adams is a guy who drew cartoons, and they weren't even original at a certain point. He just kept rehashing the same tired jokes.

People have a right to live where they want and who they want to live with ... if they can afford it, not have it handed to them by Uncle Sam.

So you really are for white privilege. Got it.

You bring up bullshit from 150 years ago as if it holds up now.
Your side is pathetic.
How have we changed?

150 years ago it was the Chinese and Irish.
100 years ago, it was the Germans and Italians
50 years ago it was the Poles and Mexicans
now it's the Haitians and Venezuelans
