‘Dilbert’ cartoonist Scott Adams dies at 68

Nope. Just something in our environment causing cancer. Herbicides? Pesticides? Big industrial corporate chemicals? Food companies? The choices to blame are endless. Welcome to it.
Ultra processed food is one of the biggest culprits.

It's nothing to do with the first Amendment.

Adams was a disgraced cartoonist. His strip was dropped from national newspapers after he made some racist comments.

Heck, and it wasn't just one slipup, he was saying crazy stuff for years, including Holocaust denial.
maybe it was the cancer drugs talking but he has the right to say it and the paper had the right to drop it but
legally, if hes in a deal and they voided it that's illegal

what he said was not racist it's a fact and many on both sides think it but are too afraid to say it

why does harlem exist or chinatown? they are not for white people

So that caused my son's cancer even though almost every person born with an undescended testicle gets cancer? Yeah, it was the dye in the Froot Loops!

Oooo, love that anti American thought

We don’t speak English you woke piece of shit!

We speak American in America
So in your "low brow" world, Australians speak Australian; Canadians speak Canadian; Mexicans speak Mexican; and people in Antarctica speak Antarctican?

Sorry Johnny ... you failed the test. Now go grab your well worn dunce cap and go sit in the corner where you belong.

Actually, most contracts have morality clauses that allow them to fire you if you go on a racist rant or are caught with a 15 year old. Or if the strip just isn't popular anymore, which Dilbert wasn't at that point.

what he said was not racist it's a fact and many on both sides think it but are too afraid to say it

Um, what he said was totally racist. He said we should bring back segregation because of a flawed Ratmuffin poll that said 24% of blacks said it wasn't okay to be white.

Wow, seriously, are you this ignorant of history?

Chinatowns exist because of racist policies to exclude Chinese people from living amongst white people and learing at the white women!

Of course, the Chinese, being Chinese, were able to turn them into tourist opportunities!

Most Chinese Americans don't live in Chinatown. (And usually the ones who do are recent immigrants who are still assimilating.)

...
Adams opens the episode of the online program discussing the presidential bid by Republican multimillionaire entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy. Then, 13 minutes into the video, Adams began his screed by citing the results of a recent public opinion poll conducted by the conservative-leaning Rasmussen Reports.

By telephone and online, the group surveyed a thousand American adults, with this question: "Do you agree or disagree with this statement, 'It's OK to be white'?"

The report found that 72% of the respondents agreed, including 53% who are Black. Some 26% of Black respondents disagreed, and 21% said they are "not sure." The poll also found that 79% of all the respondents agreed with the statement "Black people can be racist too."

The statement "It's OK to be white" has been repeated on right-wing websites and in speeches. The Anti-Defamation League has denounced it as a hate chant.

On his YouTube livestream program, Real Coffee with Scott Adams, the cartoonist said the results of that poll demonstrate the country's racial tensions "can't be fixed."
....
On his video show last week, the 65 year old said he had been identifying as Black "because I like to be on the winning team," and that he used to help the Black community. Adams said the results of the Rasmussen poll changed his mind.

"It turns out that nearly half of that team doesn't think I'm okay to be white," he said, adding that he would re-identify as white. "I'm going to back off from being helpful to Black America because it doesn't seem like it pays off," he said. "I get called a racist. That's the only outcome. It makes no sense to help Black Americans if you're white. It's over. Don't even think it's worth trying."

"I'm not saying start a war or do anything bad," he added. "Nothing like that.
I'm just saying get away. Just get away."
...

I leave it to those reading here to decide themselves if these comments were racist or not.
Personally I think it's a very subjective and narrow bias to say he was racist based on these.

"Racist" has no meaning any longer because unlike in the past, when it was used to call out real racism - now the left uses it for anyone and anything they don't like.

I just noticed this thread;

The Whole Story On What Scott Adams Said

But seems " You have insufficient privileges to reply here. "

Really? I can't see how you can read that, and come to a conclusion that he's anything other than a racist.

Um, no, we use it for people who try to downplay racism by pretending it doesn't exist when it obviously does.

You continue to display just how Far Left you are, driven by racism and other imagined slights.
It's troubling.
Disturbing.
And really, really stupid.

I'm curious why you guys are so invested in denying racism is a thing.
I'm curious why you guys are so invested in denying racism is a thing.
Many of us are curious why so many of you Leftist wingnuts have Reading Comprehension Deficit (RCD). ???
Also why are you Leftist/Regressives so invested in find racism everywhere you look ????

We didn't say "racism" is not a "thing".
We merely claimed that Scott Adams' comments aren't what we'd consider to be racist.
Especially not even as racist as the crap spewed by loons like "IM2" several times a day, every day they post here.

Nor were Scott Adams' comments any more "racist" than what I've heard often from many races and ethnics when bitching about some other race/ethnic they've had negative experiences with.

We don't see "racism" everywhere and in everyone we encounter or communicate with.

You loony Leftist are obsessed with "racism" everywhere and in everyone, yet you fail to see how often you express such yourselves.

I enjoyed Dilbert for years. But, one day, he posted something deemed offensive, and papers across the country dropped him. He set up a website to continue his cartoons, but he made it a paywall. I never signed up for it. - Morte

“Dilbert” cartoonist Scott Adams is dead at 68 after a battle with prostate cancer.
The satirist from Windham died following a long battle with prostate cancer, according to his ex-wife, Shelly Miles. She announced the news on Tuesday during a live stream on his YouTube channel, Coffee with Scott Adams, reading a statement Adams prepared prior to his death .

“I had an amazing life,” the statement said in part. “I gave it everything I had.”

The comic artist frequently gave fans updates about his condition, which had spread to his bones, after announcing in May that he expected “to be checkin’ out from this domain sometime this summer.”

Sorry for his family that he died.

He wasn't funny though.

I am curious why Democrats believe black and brown cannot be racist but excluded to white and yellow.

I don't think "yellow" can be racist, either.

It's very simple. Minorities might be bigoted, but they can't be "racist" because they lack the institutional power to favor their own race in policy. Even Affirmative Action/DEI is white people growing a conscience and saying, "Yeah, we'll take a little less privilege today, I'm full."
