Did Walz just cross a line? Calls for recording ICE.

More and more cops are realizing the camera is their friend, as more and more show how unhinged the people cops deal with are.

Getting bodycams to be mandated requires at the federal level legislation, agreement with the worker's union in question, and procedures and policies from the agencies in question. You just can't one day decide "you guys have to wear cameras"
I've got no problem with cops wearing cameras, but it's not a sufficient replacement for the people recording interactions as well.

When cops are under total control of the cameras, they can be used to support their agenda. Release what is beneficial, suppress what is harmful.

The more control cops get, the less accountability they have and the more open for corruption.

I thought it was pretty simple. I'll try to dumb it down for ya, Simp:

The tactics of your Murder Cult won't work because law enforcement is getting it all on video. Murder Cult Karen got dead because of her actions.

HTH
God youre a ******* idiot.
Im assuming you are 12, or perhaps have an extra chromosome?

The protesters always turn their cameras on AFTER they instigate a situation. It's the same old trick that's been around for decades.

The FBI has the same size budget, so no.
You are either a fool of a liar. And I won't rule out both.

The FBI's budget varies annually, with requests and enactments changing, but recent figures show it hovering around $10-11 billion

FY 2025: Approaching $10.7 billion in nominal appropriations, with real spending rising.

Compare to:

The "ICE budget" refers to the significant funding allocated to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), with recent major funding bills providing tens of billions for detention (e.g., $45 billion for detention capacity) and enforcement/deportation (e.g., ~$30 billion)

Do the math. Is $30 billion more than $11 billion?

Dude spent only hours in the hospital.
That's just enough time for a CT scan to show it was just a boo-boo.
Before being release.
Apparently with a prescription to keep him away from the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA)
So, you are not denying that he was struck by the car, merely trying to claim that it's no big deal because he wasn't severely injured? That makes her guilty of assault on a federal agent, and coupled with attempting to flee the scene, liable to be shot. Have you EVER seen LE allowing a suspect to flee the scene after he/she assaults one of them?

This is why it's dumb to leap to conclusions without getting all the evidence first. You're going to get someone else killed by ramping up their outrage over something that may, when examined, be nothing like what you are claiming it is.

If done without interfering with ICE agents doing their job, there's no harm in recording from a respectful distance. If I had the inclination, I'd do it. But there has never been a politician that ever gave me any sort of worthwhile inclination.

Citizens have no responsibility to not edit their videos. The govt does.

Sorry, but once it becomes a legal issue that constitutes fraud at best, and perjury at worst.

You cross the line into using your video for things like this, you lose your ability to lie about things.

When Trump is gone the Madam Defarges on the left are going to be going down their lists with a vengeance.

The fact that Walz hasen't been impeached for the fraud by what I hope is the vast number of tax paying honest MN citizens is disappointing to say the least.

"atrocities"?

C'mon

When all you have is "Nuh-uh" you have nothing.

Run along, loser.

This assumes that there are no citizens who are either neutral of even "pro-ICE" making a video.

https://factually.co/fact-checks/politics/ice-annual-budget-funding-6eab66

ICE’s FY2026 Congressional Budget Justification, published by DHS, states an ICE budget request of $11.3 billion and lays out staffing levels and programmatic requests tied to that figure, while ICE’s own FY2024 materials and annual report describe the agency operating on an annual budget in the neighborhood of $8.7 billion (FY2024 budget document) to “approximately $9 billion” as summarized in its FY2024 annual report.

You conveniently ignored what I asked, namely, do FBI agents wear body cameras at all times when they are on duty, or are they exempt because Orange Man Bad?

The protesters always turn their cameras on AFTER they instigate a situation. It's the same old trick that's been around for decades.
Or they start recording after a cop instigates some shit.

You dopes will believe whatever you want to suit your agenda. Cops are always innocent perfect little angels who never violate the constitution.

Another idiot with nothing.
As usual, you just make shit up and then pat yourself on the back.
A true moron, in every sense of the word.
And liar. Cant forget that.

Like the video released of sinking "drug boats" off the coast of Venezuela.

Except for the second strike on the boat on September 2nd.
Showing them striking two survivors, clinging to what was left of their boat.

 yeah and thats good when they decide to show them unedited.

I dont think he should have said it, but its still perfectly legal. He used it as a distraction I think, and yall are eating right out of his hand.

You were defending him, all you said was that he wasn't doing anything illegal, implying there was nothing wrong with what he did or said. And then act like a little girl having her candy taken away when someone comments on it. :dunno:

Yeah, he stepped in it there.
