Did Walz just cross a line? Calls for recording ICE.

What do you have against gathering evidence?
Remember, all those videos can serve to either prosecute or exonerate someone. Video is a double edged sword.

Gathering 'evidence' for what? They don't record themselves physically assaulting an ICE officer, they only video the response.

You think that will be 'evidence'?

Why does he want 'evidence' against ICE who are arresting criminals that have broken federal law?

January 6th 2021 ring a bell?

One day.

Meanwhile the left does it on and off for MONTHS and you keep running back to ONE DAY.

Also, on Jan 6th the goal wasn't to interfere with law enforcement, here the goal is to do just that.

Yeah, after spending 4+ years in prison for 'trespassing' charges. Tell me what the sentences were for those who rioted in major cities, destroyed property, stole from stores, set police cars on fire, committed arson?

That would be true if you're talking about edited video. Raw footage catches everything that happens, good and bad.

Record whatever you can. Definitely a good idea. Already being done from coast to coast. And perfectly legal.

These are historical times: Armed, masked men, representing a President, knocking on doors.
Yep. Get Trump defending America, enforcing immigration law, and upholding his Oath of Office all on video.

And while they are at it they will get their Murder Cult Lemmings acting like butthurt 5 year old spoiled children.

Win-Win.

Not sure how you got that from my post but whatever :dunno:

So as the state leader, his obvious hatred against federal law enforcement should have nothing to do with him standing up and telling people, knowing what his feelings are about them, to go gather 'evidence' to use against them? It's an acceptable and good thing for the 'leader' of the state to do in your opinion?

Yes.

So they are incapable of committing assault against the officer, and then turning on the camera on their phones to record the consequence? What I said had nothing to with editing.

Its always a good thing to record cops.

And that's why most of them wear body cams. I see you refuse to denounce Waltz for his stand against federal law enforcement as being irresponsible given the position he's in. Not surprising.

 yeah and thats good when they decide to show them unedited.

I dont think he should have said it, but its still perfectly legal. He used it as a distraction I think, and yall are eating right out of his hand.

you don't think the protesters edit their video or only turn on the cameras AFTER they instigate something?

15th post
Also for the cops to record the people they interact with.
Unless they forget to turn the camera on, or accidentally delete the footage, or somehow the camera happened to malfunction or they just don't have a bodycam because not every ICE officer does.

And we haven't even started talking about whether ICE will even release the footage or not, because it's in their control.

Why does he want 'evidence' against ICE who are arresting criminals that have broken federal law?
Because some of the footage will show ICE arresting innocent American Citizens
