The crime laid out in the law I posted was what Trump was charged with. So that’s the crime. The trial determined his guilt or innocence relating to that crime after both sides presented their cases.

Back when Christian disapproved of men ******* round on all their wives, it was looked at as unrepentant sin, a definite sign of the worst character imaginable, and a politician that cannot be trusted to honor vows before God, was certainly not to be trusted to honor an oath of office. Officers have be kicked out of the military for this reason, and the president is commander and chief of the military. In local elections, credible sex scandal goeth before the big loss. Lying about it, is further proof, as it is like eating peanuts, you can't tell just one, so a proven liar is not to be trusted, as you do not know what they will lie about next.

Let me make sure I understand your question. You acknowledge that Trump was charged for a real crime, right? I posted the NY state statute, and cited Cohens arrest… but your issue is you don’t think there is evidence that Trump was involved in that crime. Is that correct?

Like I said, he got himself breaking the law, in the cover up, whether it needed to be covered up or not, and the money was run through corporate accounts as a business expense, falsifying business records. It is a law, you are not allowed to freely break in New York, possibly because they are the financial capital of the US, if not the world. What else do you want to know?
You can contribute as much as you like to your own campaign if you declare it. If you don't, it is against campaign finance laws, especially if you decide to count money spent on the campaign as legitimate business expense to be counted against state and federal taxes.I want to know why it's a law that you can't use your own money to help you with your campaign because that's a load of BS right there.

He says it was not a campaign contribution or expense. He cannot legally have both ways, and when you try, it is and will be illegal.
When running a political campaign there are laws around where funds come from and how they are disclosed. Cohen paid the $130k to stormy for Trump and then was reimbursed by Trump in a manner to hide the payments and skirt the process. That violated the law. Cohen was caught and arrested for it a few years ago while Trump was president. This latest trial was NY state prosecuting Trump for his part in that situation. The law was clearly laid out to the jury and the evidence presented. So that’s the law he was accused of violating and whether he broke it or not was what the trial covered

They trying the John Edwards thing. But John Edwards used campaign money to pay off. Trump self funding so that is not legit.
