Did the suicide bombers come from Bagram prison that was emptied out after Biden gave it to Taliban?

Those were prisoners released by the Afghan Govt

You gloss over the part about who called the shots. It was through the U.S. committment to expodite that release by the Afghans.

Wall Street Journal:
KABUL—The Taliban commander overseeing an assault on the key southern city of Lashkargah is one of 5,000 former prisoners released by the Afghan government last year under pressure from the U.S., Afghan and Western officials say.
WSJ News Exclusive | Taliban Commander Who Led Attack on Afghan City Was Released From Prison Last Year, Officials Say

BBC:
The release of 5,000 prisoners was a condition, agreed between the US and the Taliban after their peace talks last year, to begin these negotiations.

The Afghan government was not involved in making the agreement, and had concerns about releasing thousands of militants. Last month, Afghan President Ashraf Ghani warned that the prisoners' release was a "danger" to the world, AFP news agency reported at the time.

Now back to the OP's point, only an idiot would make such a commitment to have Taliban forces released prior to our exit. It matters not whether that dufus has an (D) or (R) behind their name as both have displayed total ineptness.

xiden called the shots to ignore the agreement and pull out.

The point is, the entire Bagram complex should have been secured by U.S. personnel until the very end of the exit.
Or are we to assume that the U.S. military just wasn't up to the job, so they prematurely got the fuck out?

Totally agree. I've been all over that point with the other side that tries to absolve Biden. His speech last week explaining "his" decision to exit Afghanistan struck me as lame. "His" decision should have been made prior to taking office and implemented immediately starting no later than January 21st. He dilly-dallied until the Taliban made the decision for him and set the time table.
