What a crazy unhinged notion completely at odds with reality; some magical, cultish thinking on your part.
Not at all. Fetuses aren't viable outside the womb, and therefore not people. They were never treated as people when abortion was illegal.
Once you declare them people, and not a part of the woman's body, the woman now has less rights when she is pregnant. And this goes beyond abortion.
Chattel slavery where you are literal property means you are not a person with rights. Being a death camp laborer doomed to be executed over your ethnicity because your conquerer has explicitly rendered you a non-person via its laws and courts…. Means you are again not a ******* person, because the law says you are not a person.
Except that in chattel slavery, if you killed a slave, or someone else's slave, you could be charged with murder. People who worked at the concentration camps were charged with murder after the war.
On the other hand, even when abortion was illegal, no one was charged with murder for performing one.
You are literally the same thing as someone voting for slavery or for conquering your neighbors to slaughter their citizens, assuming your participation level in this current, worse horror isn’t worse - which it probably is.
Yup, got to go to my job at the Abortion Clinic.
Joe's Abortions.
You Rape 'em, we Scrape 'em.
No Fetus can Beat Us.
Your Womb is their Tomb.
(yes, I am mocking you now.)
Now, Joe's ideal world, we'd never have another abortion. Women would only have sex with men who are good father material, and contraception would work every time it is used. We don't live in that perfect world.
If you conservatives were really serious about wanting to reduce abortions, you'd support comprehensive sex education, paid family leave, and universal health care. That's why women have abortions, it's the path of least resistence, and goofy laws won't change that.
