I don't know whether Abrego Garcia was given a prison sentence, but I do know he was not in the USA when he was put in prison.

I believe they streamlined their version of due process in El Salvador when it comes to gangs. Now their girls can have quinceneras (Sweet 15 meets Debutant ball type thing) in their neighborhoods without being kidnapped and raped and their parents murdered.

The trump admin sent Garcia to ElSalvador defying a Legal Court Order protecting Garcia from being sent there.

Trump admin failed to legally request the court to remove the Court Order protection.

This request to remove protection is in a hearing before a judge, where Garcia and his attorneys are also there, to present their side of why the Court ordered protection should not be removed....and THAT is the due process, Garcia was not legally given by Trump n team.

A HEARING is not a TRIAL.

Who told you the LIE about a TRIAL as due process had to be done? There are many forms of due process that involves a neutral arbitrator, like a simple hearing before an immigration judge... and that is required only for those legally seeking asylum from what I have read. There are a certain amount of days border patrol, ICE, INS etc have to deport back to their own country that the illegals came from....without needing a hearing before a judge, and other circumstances with illegals as well....only asylum seekers, who meet the criteria border agents have been given to qualify as an asylum seeker, are given a court HEARING by an immigration judge who decides their fate, accepted as a legal asylum resident, or they are deported back to their country, at that time.

It is not against the law to deport illegals back to their home country, if they have not qualified for a court hearing on their asylum seeking,

but if qualifications for asylum seeking have been met with Border Patrol and they are given an immigration court hearing appointment, then they can't be deported without their hearing in immigration court first.

That is not a trial, it is a court hearing in immigration court.

Trump is not doing that.

He is playing judge, jury, and executioner, and deporting those with court dates for a hearing before their hearing, and deporting people he falsely claim we are in a declared war with their native country, and using the the Alien Enemy Act, to deport them to a foreign country from their own, and putting them in concentration camps there that are known for torture and inhumane conditions based on the admin deciding their guilt of being in a specific gang, without any due process of a court hearing and judge reviewing the admin s evidence and the defendant's evidence to the contrary that may be provided.

Trump is imprisoning people in ElSalvador and paying ElSalvador to hold them and torture them for him, as long as he claims this non existing declared war with Venezuela continues....and all without any crime committed and charged with and found guilty over. Of course he didnt, no one gets a trial with jury to get deported....at most, those that are qualified asylum seekers get a HEARING in court....it takes about an hour.

If at the border crossing they are determined to NOT QUALIFY for an asylum hearing they can be deported immediately....border patrol are given a couple of weeks grace period to send them back without a hearing.... to arrange for the illegal's home country to take them back and arranging the air flight there to return them. Those being deported are held in their cells until returned.

Title 42 allowed Trump and Biden during Covid, to deport border crossers ...even those seeking asylum, without a hearing, while the pandemic was in progress.
