Trump doing it again shows that the "Whys" the causes for the increased engagement that resulted in historic turnout stuck and he was able to keep the momentum. The Dem drop can mean a few things.... Voters didn't like Harris as much as Biden.... The incumbent party let down the voters who were voting for change and they stayed home or switched back to Trump. etc etc.

Especially among young people thanks to the likes of Shapiro, Kirk, Vivek on college campuses. Plus Trump had a strong coalition with Musk, Rogan, Dana White, etc. they appeal to young people. Mostly it was the woke and DEI policies that told young MEN that they needed to take a back seat to women. Didn’t work very well.

But I need to see 2028 when Vance runs against Newsome to gauge how the country really feels. Trump will be gone so the rhetoric can’t be “Orange Hitler”. Democrats will have to run on policy as Vance has a very strong character as of today.
