At this point, I do not know what the status of her citizenship is, but as a member by marriage of a foreign royal family, I would hope that she should be considered completely ineligible for any position in American government, since she now has an obvious allegiance to a foreign country.

If there is really that much support for any violation of the people's Second Amendment rights, then why is there no credible effort underway to amend the Constitution to overturn the Second Amendment, and allow such violations?

By wise design, amending the Constitution is no easy or trivial task, but 80% public support would certainly be enough to get such an effort underway and give it a realistic chance of succeeding.

There is no such effort underway, because nobody in a position to initiate that effort believes that it would have any chance of succeeding. Which means that nobody believes that there is really as much public support for an such effort as your kind keep lying about there being.
