At first I was scared, but now I'm more angry than anything. After the attack they told me that women shouldn't be alone on the streets after 8:00 pm. And they also gave me other advice, telling me I should dye my hair dark and also not dress in such a provocative way.

That's pretty standard advice for ANY woman raped by anyone. It is always her fault. I notice you seem to be obsessed by rapes by muslim refugees though. Do no native nationals rape in Europe?

so ppl are supposed to ignore the surge in rapes that are being committed by muslims? Do you think women on campuses should only worry about the rapes that occur off campus, as well?

I'm sick an tired of the PC brigade making rape a magic bullet that defies people taking common sense measures to protect themselves. If you leave your car doors unlocked and someone gets in and steals your laptop off the backseat, one of the first things you're going to hear is that you should have locked the doors and put the laptop in the trunk! If you are served chicken at a restaurant and it looks under cooked, but you eat is anyway and then get food poisoning, what is the doctor going to tell you? You shouldn't have eaten under cooked chicken!

There is nothing wrong with advising women to take reasonable, common sense measures to help protect their own safety to help prevent these things from happening. For fuck's sake, we live in a world where men are being told the onus is on us to protect ourselves from false claims of rape, and we're told to do such things as get a consent contract or have witnesses to a woman's consent.

There is nothing wrong with advising women to take reasonable, common sense measures to help protect their own safety to help prevent these things from happening.

Nope, nothing wrong with that at all since at the end of the day you and you alone are responsible for your own safety....

That being said, the first piece of advice for the ladies; learn how to use a gun and then carry it since nothing deters a would be rapist like a bullet between the eyes.

This is one of the strongest arguments for women being free to arm themselves. Rape is a crime of aggression, carried out against the perceived weak and vulnerable. Give the victims teeth.
