Bingo.... I don't like the income inequality any more than anyone else does. However you have to take the good with the bad. You cannot force redistribution without destroying the economy and that will destroy everyone. In fact, the NY Republican Governor nominee only lost the statewide vote by 6 back in '22.

Not only that, but the national popular vote for president shifts in Trump's favor when blue state margins are so considerably reduced against Dems.

I expect the same phenomena to occur here in Rhode Island.
