We are talking about Fl. and not Ky, right?
The gun rights is a protected right in Florida last I heard, anyways.
The state Attorney for FLORIDA was not upholding the state laws and was suspended.

I'm against any law enforcement agency from not enforcing the laws they are supposed to enforce. If they don't like the laws in that state then they should look for work in another state.Interesting. There have been a good number of stories out there about Sheriffs and other law enforcement officials and others stating they would not enforce gun laws they did not agree with....and nobody that I can recall on the right had any issues with that at all.
The clerk from KY was a leftist ?
The first indication of fascism taking over is in the banning of abortions. Don't you see what's happening in your country and is being applauded by extreme rightists? The video mentioned nothing about abortion laws in Hillsboro County Florida. Why did you?
This is another incidence, like in New York, where the DA has his own subset of what crimes on the books will be enforced and which ones will not. The example give, was a violent crime by a witness identified suspect in a shooting situation, where the States Attorney would not prosecute, simply because depositions would be lengthy and require too much work. I guess he only likes slam dunk cases, without regard to victims rights of protection under the state laws of Florida.

Huh?Republicans and DeSantis yet again demonstrate their contempt for democratic representation.
Are we permitted to talk about the fact that a ban on abortion is a move toward extreme right fascism?
DeSantis suspends Democrat "Soros-backed" state attorney Andrew Warren for refusing to enforce state laws, including recent restrictions to abortion
This is the thread topic
Correct me if I’m wrong but Andrew Warren was elected Nov 2020 by the people of his county in a free and fair election.Huh?
Correct me if I’m wrong but Andrew Warren was elected Nov 2020 by the people of his county in a free and fair election.
And now that choice is being taken away from the people.
Isn't this thread about DeSantis suspending Warren for not enforcing state laws? Are we permitted to talk about the fact that a ban on abortion is a move toward extreme right fascism?
That would be the issue here.
But, Warren is refusing to enforce the laws of Florida, that is what he vowed to do.Correct me if I’m wrong but Andrew Warren was elected Nov 2020 by the people of his county in a free and fair election.

The electorate gets to decide if he’s not doing what they elected him to do.He was suspended for not doing what he was elected to do. Just because he was elected doesn't mean he gets to pick and choose what laws he's to enforce

Prosecutorial discretion is a long-standing principle in our justice system. But, Warren is refusing to enforce the laws of Florida, that is what he vowed to do.
Do you think this would even be an issue if he was enforcing the laws of the State?
maybe, but has it happened?Gun laws that are, or aren't protected by the Second Amendment?
I think your argument is more like apples and oranges
