DeSantis says, if elected president, he'd consider pardons for Jan. 6 offenders

Wed have watched it.

That's why we know you're lying.

Like I said, you can't gaslight anyone who isn't part of your fascist cult.
No one is “gaslighting” you. The video is what it is. You’re telling me that the video doesn’t show multiple armed police officers (I think there were 5+ at one point) weren’t there and just let this guy wander around? You’re saying they just had to let this unarmed guy go where ever he wanted, show him around to deescalate the situation? Really? If that’s the case why were the cops even there? We don’t pay them to be spectators or tour guides.

I gave you no talking points. I simply applied your epically stupid logic to the Vietnam war.

Do the guys in the pic I posted look like they are fighting? Nope. Just sitting around and drinking beer.

Thanks for displaying your vapid right wing provided narrative so we all know how gullible you are.

Is it painful to be this brainwashed?

That was not associated with the summer of love.
Celebrities, including model and TV personality Chrissy Teigen, have committed funds to post bail for those who were arrested in Black Lives Matter protests brought about by the death of George Floyd.

So? Same thing is happening for Jan 6 sedition participants.

Did you want to outlaw posting bail?

So you're advocating giving people prison time for going on speaking tours saying things you dont like? (For the record I have no idea what's he saying I just dont think we should be putting people in jail for things they say).
No, he is not. What a stupid thing for you to say. Be honest.

Look up deescalation. Look up the early real time cautions by the LEO leadership. No, they are not tour guides. Be honest.

Deflection noted.

You must be done with the debate I presume?
What's there to debate? The video is what it is. The reality is it wouldn't matter what the video showed because you'd made up your mind before hand. You've been sold that some loser in a bear hat being shown around the Capital Building is a "threat to democracy" and you swallowed it. You cant go back now, or wont so... Truthfully, is there anything I could say or post that would make you change your mind? Is there some evidence I could show you that would open your eyes to the fact that while there were some morons who might have thought they were over throwing the government, 95% of the idiots who went into the capital that day didn't. And that even the ones who did had no real legal path to actually doing so. I dont like the fact that those people did what they did but they weren't really a threat to the US Government or a threat to overturn the election. Regardless of what Chucky Schumer tells you. This guy specifically didn't deserve 2 years based on the video we have now seen. Especially given the light sentences we routinely give out to actual violent offenders.

5+ armed police officers surrounding an unarmed man in a hallway that had no one in it but them and him. What's there to deescalate? At that point if the officers actually believed he was a threat and breaking the law you detain and arrest him. They didnt so they didnt.

The little "details" you left out, is they were escorting him AWAY from where the congress was meeting. They "escorted" him to an EMPTY senate chamber.

In short, police did escort people AWAY from the riot.

They could have just arrested him.

They could have just arrested him.
There was a riot going on, an insurrection. They had bigger fish to fry at the time. That explains why there were so few arrests on January 6th. They were busy protecting the members of congress as their first priority.

What charges against him do you disagree with?

He was breaking the law, and the LEO did not arrest him. Your point is you have no point.

So 5 guys following him around was a better use of their time than just arresting him? Interesting logic. Let see. I can arrest this guy, cuff him and at worst leave one guy here to watch him or all 5 of us can hang out and follow this moron around....... hmmm decisions decisions....

They were removing one of the instigators of the riot. And doing so, without making a martyr out of him by arresting him. That would have only given the crowd more of an inspiration. With war cries of "do it for the shaman..."
