I reckon the problem they have at the moent is we know that trump is in the files many times. Kash told us that. They have to weed out enough of that to not incriminate the orange one but leave enough in to allay suspicion.

Trump will want to present evidence about as many dems as possible. But he would want to isolate any wealthy donors from that. After all that is what he is being paid for.
It would be difficult to present a list with only GOP names redacted. Even the supine press might question that.
He will also need to decide which of his friends he will need to throw under the bus. That wll be needed for credibility. Ideally it will be someone already dead so there will be no need for a court case.A case that might prove messy.

So there are a host of reasons that trump is delaying the files release.
