Trump was being sued for the Trump University Fraud by two states during the election campaign and had bribed the AG’s of Texas and Florida to keep them from joining the suits. He was fined by the IRS for making illegal campaign contributions to both.

Trump Hotel in Toronto went bankrupt raising a lot of questions about the Russian ownership of that hotel.

When you elect a PROVEN criminal to the White House, expect investigation of the crime boss and his henchmen to follow.

I mean you fools are still investigating Hillary Clinton who has never been charged with ANYTHING so stop pretending that Trump is being targeted unfairly.

Trump's lawsuit in the 70's was setup by the state. They had nothing on him which is why they allowed it to be settled out of court with the rider that the company did no wrongdoing. A President (especially one with his money) is not about to fight a lawsuit while serving as President. If he had lost the election, he would have fought the phony lawsuits of his college and likely won.

The Trump Corporation was charged with FEDERAL racial discrimination in housing in the 1970's - twice. Trump settled both cases by paying an fine and agreeing to change rental practices. The second case resulted, because they failed to implement the changes in the first Settlement Agreement. There was no "rider" to this agreement. Trump settles all of his lawsuits with "no admission of wrong doing". This is standard practice in settlements. I can recite the clause from memory.

And let's be very clear here. The government didn't say he did nothing wrong. The Agreement says that settlement is not an admission of guilt on the part of the DEFENDANT. Basically the settlement says that even though I refuse to admit I broke the law, I'll pay the government hundreds of thousands of dollars and promise never to do it again. These are the kinds of settlements that guilty people sign.

Trump settled the Trump University case for $25 million. I've looked at this case and Trump really didn't have a leg to stand on. He was attempting to play it that these were rogue employees who were committing the fraud and he had no idea. The documents in evidence said otherwise.

Nobody who spends as much time in court filing agreements that admit no guilt, but pay fines, settlements and debts owed, isn't a criminal. Only criminals pay bribes to public officials because paying bribes to publica officials is illegal. Trump brags about bribing public officials and of asking favours of those he bribes - also illegal.
