There is no witch hunt against Trump. He started saying it so his followers would get upset and turn against the law. He won the W.H due to confronting China, unfair trade practices and border security. The GOP Esablishment dont want to accept that Americans want a secure soverign countries. Trump was the only guy who spoke candidly on these issues so it was a easy protest vote for Americans who felt betrayed by politicians.
