Reactionaries fail to understand, or refuse to acknowledge, demographics will determine the future political landscape. Half the black population lives in the South, and the Asian and Hispanic population is increasing there rapidly; that is what drives voter suppression, voter fraud isn't the issue and every honest person knows that!
The Republican Leadership knows that changing demographics are a threat to their power, and yet still pander to the right wing fringe whose membership doesn't have a clue.
Donald Demagogue must know this, as well as he knows Lincoln was spot on when he noted, "you can fool some of the people all of the time. Some of those people post on the message board everyday.
Can you show how voter ID laws have suppressed black votes? No, of course not. Black turnout was GREATER after those laws were passed than before.
Why do Dems support voter fraud? Answer: ITs the only way they can win.
Numbers of black voters who voted is not the issue; those who were denied the right by not producing an
appropriate ID is the issue as well as out of state students being denied their right to vote. Of course that problem has an easy solution. If the Republican Leadership really believed voter fraud was a serous problem they would produce a voter ID care at no cost (to charge would be a poll tax) good for every Federal Election. Of course if good for Federal Elections, and denied for local one, we would immediately see the regions where democracy was under attack.
Polling places closed in black neighborhoods, and open in areas two or three bus rides away, open for fewer hours, with the concomitant long lines is another means to suppress the vote. Only a double liar, by commission and omission would argue voter suppression is a solution to voter fraud.
