Democrats, What is the Absolute Best Outcome You See for the Alien Enemies Act Cases?

Its not lawfare. Its following the goddamn law.
Your party ignored the law for four years to allow as many illegal aliens from all over the world to flood the country.

Now it claims to be following the law to allow as many illegal aliens from all over the world to stay in the country.

The American voter is way to smart for you.

The act has only been used 3 times in our history and only in times of war.

It is a fascist act to utilize wartime powers to achieve political objectives. If their gang members then we can use existing laws to deport them.
Plenty of threads already debating that.

My question is how to you think that bringing deported suspected terrorist gang members will help Democrats get elected in 2026?

They used internationally excepted guidelines on asylum to enter our country.

Prove me wrong.

All the Trump Haters chant in unison FOLLOW THE LAW!!!! Unless of course it's a Conservative then it's FUCK IT!! WE GOT EM!!!
And here it is for maga…being the victim.

When that happens I am sure you will tell us.
So, you also believe that the judge's order is an impossible one?

"Internationall accepted guidelines on asylum" is not the same as "U.S. Immigration Law."

Prove me wrong.

Yes

Yes

You're almost right.

It is not literally impossible for Trump to comply with the order to bring back Kilmar Abredo Garcia. But only in the philosophical sense that "nothing is impossible." It is effectively impossible that a) Trump could do it, or b) Trump would do it.

Unless . . .

If Trump is actually gaslighting the Democrats on this one, he may have already asked Venezuala to keep that guy ready to be flown back. But first his hand would have to absolutely be forced by the courts, so that he can say that he is doing it to avoid a "constitutional crises."

That guy comes back and the Democrats will have difficulty holding onto enough seats not be be relegated to third-party status.

Whether he does or he doesn't, I sure hope the first plank in the Democrats' platform is "Bring Back Biden-Era Immigration Policies!"

We are at war, and we don't give one shit about what liberals would like to see happen to our country. Desperate times call for desperation measures. We voted to get you invaders the hell out.
So, if you entered our country illegally, then you must leave, legally or illegally, we don't care. You just need to go to your own country and stop breaking into ours. Period...

We are not at war..with anyone.
Like it or not, the Constitution guarantees due process....for everyone.
Not for foreign invaders. :nono:

When the members of the right in this forum understand that this is a wartime act and we're not at war, then perhaps this can become a decent discussion.

Now, we have another judge who just "needs time to think," about whether it is legal to deport foreign gang members under the Alien Enemies Act.

A federal judge issued a new blockade Friday preventing President Trump from deporting Venezuelan gang suspects who are being held in southern Texas.

Judge Fernando Rodriguez Jr. said he needs time to evaluate the administration’s claims about its powers under the Alien Enemies Act. He issued a temporary restraining order blocking the deportations.

The Supreme Court earlier this week ruled that Mr. Trump must give deportation targets under the AEA a chance to mount a challenge to the removal in federal courts.

Dems made some progress this week, with the USSC giving some legs - possibly temporary - to these Fed Judges we never heard of directing national policy. My question is progress toward what?

What is the ultimate end game? Is it that there be no more deportations? Is it that deportations are possible, but must follow a very strict and time-consuming process and only apply to people who have been convicted of crimes after illegally entering? Is it that there be a process, but that it be very quick and effecient?

If you are able to bring about any of those scenarios, resulting in far more illegal aliens in the country than would have been here if deportations still looked like they did under Obama and Biden, how will that affect your presidential ambitions in 2028?

Trump needs to issue and EO giving POTUS the ability to ignore these minor judges

Wouldn't it be more important to yell that to the thousands of violent, heavily armed military aged men who stormed our border during the Biden years?
