Now the plans cost double that, with triple the deductible, and narrow provider networks.

Healthcare got more expensive because we are doing more with more expensive tools, and because people are less healthy.

One of the overlooked aspects of the ACA is how it essentially eliminated the garbage plans available on the cheap with worthless coverage and replaced them with policies covering preventative treatments for free, albeit at a higher cost.

The new Obamacare plans DID exclude certain conditions. The way they got around it was simply to exclude specialists in their network who focused on that condition. Then you had to go out of network and pay up the yazoo.

Well, my Obamacare plan was $900 a month, meaning almost $11,000 a year. (And remember, that was for a crappy plan with a $6k deductible.) So, multiply by five and you’re over $50,000 for the year.
