Liar. People who have used it complain about the limited networks, high deductibles, and ridiculous premiums.I've read about it. All the Americans who've actually used it can't say enough good things about it.
Rather than, like you, identify a sector of the population they're happy to deny health care in the US
I support people getting off their fat asses and eat some greens.
Who? Someone you know?Linda McCartney was in good shape and a vegetarian but still got cancer.
A family of four making $125K…Biden’s ARP allows for subsidies for anyone if the ACA premium exceeds 8.5% of their income. It also extends the subsidy threshold to 400% above the poverty level, so a family of 4 making 125k would get a subsidy. This was an expansion of the ACA that was sold as a temporary measure.
Business owners or consultants getting $500,000 a year - some government contractors make that - don’t have employer plans.
And as far as “clawing back” the subsidies, that is fair: they were giving your wife welfare on the basis of a low income projected for the year, and then she married you (poor girl) and her income shot up. Why should taxpayers not get their money back?
So we’ll have a system like the NHS? Read about it.
All single-payer would be is Medicaid, expanded nationally, to 99% of voters. The rich elites would have their own plans.
Nothing the Dem Socialists would love more than to get everyone onto Medicaid.
A family of four making $125K…
NOT $500K
Total bullshit
Right, because their is a great swath of people who are just ecstatic about their health care.I've read about it. All the Americans who've actually used it can't say enough good things about it.
A family of four making $125K is probably barely getting by.
I would rather have my health care come from a government I can vote out if they don't deliver than an insurance company I have no say in.
So let's be clear on this. Obama WANTED a public option and a Medicare Buy-in for people over 55. That was shot down by the Republicans and Joe Lieberman (who only thought that Israelis deserve socialized medicine on the US taxpayers' dime, not Americans!)
Insurance subsidies were a Republican idea, which Obama went along with. And now you are complaining because poor people are getting stuff you think they shouldn't have.
lol Then they're making some really really bad decisions.A family of four making $125K is probably barely getting by.
Because those subsidies were based on her projected annual income, and paid monthly. Her projected annual income for that year turned out to be false once she married you.Because she wasn't married to me when she got the subsidies. She was living paycheck to paycheck.
(Actually, it's a bit more complicated than that, but never mind.)
Unlike most couples, we didn't co-habitate before we got married.
So why should I be paying for her subsidies that happened before we got married? that seems kind of stupid.
A family of four earning $125k should budget for health insurance. That was possible before Obamacare caused premiums to skyrocket.certainly one major illness from bankruptcy.
That’s husband and wife making $30 an hourA family of four making $125K is probably barely getting by.

What's the crock. If you are only doing marginally well on that, then you're making bad decisions. That’s husband and wife making $30 an hour
Better than getting by but not by a lot
And very definitely not in the $500K area
What a crock
I remember what healthcare cost before ACA and if you didn’t have employer funded healthcare you were fucked.A family of four earning $125k should budget for health insurance. That was possible before Obamacare caused premiums to skyrocket.
Things are high now because the United States is now one of the fattest countries in the world.Premiums were going up pre-Obamacare. That was the reason for the push. Now granted, Obamacare sadly did nothing for rising costs.
Things are so high now because of years and years of pumping the economy not because of Obamacare.
You put the wrong words in quotes. And as long as the rich elites pay their fair share of confiscatory taxes, I'd have no problem with them having 'their own plans".
