ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI-FOX2now.com) - There is a strange sight on a south St. Louis street that you just paid to pave. One alderman's idea of giving you a greener street may have taxpayers seeing red. The You Paid For It team is asking questions of Alderman Stephen Gregali about more than $3-thousand worth of tree planters on Delor Street.
Video at link, these trees are IN the street, planted in the street cars must drive around them. All this to make the city 'green' forget that tree roots destroy streets and cars are meant to drive on streets.
Video and story here:
You Paid For It: Delor Street Tree Planters - KTVI
This is the same democrat (Stephen Gregali) who approved this spending on street planters that complained about the tea parties being upset with ridiculous spending:
St. Louis Democratic Alderman Stephen Gregali said if the protestors were upset about spending, they should direct their anger at the deficits of the previous administration.
(The 'previous administration' meaning the Democratic congress ( who is in control of the purse strings) which took power in 2007?)
