Spending on illegal immigrants amounts to one percent, ONE ******* PERCENT, of Medicaid spending. You seriously believe that is what this is about? How big of a fool do you want to appear?

I strongly doubt that the spending on medicaid that Democrats want to give to illegal aliens is 1% of Medicaid spending. After the 4 years of Biden open borders & 14 million entering, it's got to be waaay higher than that. I wouldn't be surprised if it's about 50% or more.

Also, even if Medicaid spending on illegals was 1%, with $900 BILLION spent on Medicaid in 2023 (quite higher now), that would be $9 Billion. That's enough money to buy a brand new car for half a million US citizens who don't have one.

That is the states. Personally, if they could not produce documentation of legal status, I wouldn't even give them emergency care. It is risky to leave your country and go to where you are not covered under insurance. It would be downright dangerous to bring your kids, where they could not even get emergency care. I propose a variation of that policy. They should be given emergency care until they are stabilized and then immediate deportation after turning them over to ICE. That will clear them out fast enough. It's also the humane thing to do.

So, the republicans are basically trying to screw Americans, mostly (60% of Afordable Healthcare act recipients) Republican state Americans, so they can keep big tax breaks for the wealthy that do not need to worry about healthcare, as they are the "got mine, **** you, find a way to keep yours" party.

They are holding America hostage in an attempt to continue paying obscene amounts of money into a healthcare system that even the Dems are admitting is broken. That is objectively foolish policy.
