Democrats Pass Sweeping Gun Control

etc

has nothing to do with buying a firearm.

Actually, it has everything to do with it.

The banking industry is so thorough because they don't want the liability of a default.
The immigration rules are so tough because they don't want people doing fraudulent "Green card weddings" to circumvent the immigration process.
Employers do thorough background checks because a bad apple can cause all sorts of problems for them.

On the other hand, we've exempted the gun industry from Most liability when they sell to crazy people and have incentivized them to do so.

Because a crazy person with a gun will get people who normally have no use for a gun thinking, "Maybe I need one of those, too."

Now, if you proceeded from a "I can get sued if a gun owner does some crazy shit with this gun I sold him", when some asshole shows up at your store with orange hair doing a bad Joker impression, you are going to get the scrutiny this sort of transaction deserves.

It certainly makes a lot more sense than "The Joker deserves a gun because the Founding Fathers couldn't define a militia properly."

most unenforced laws are useless.

Most of them are closing the barn door after the horse has gotten out, that's the thing.

A yellow flag law to do a whole handstand procedure AFTER the guy has bought a gun is useless.

If they had done ANY kind of background check on him before he bought the gun, such as talking to his wife who had fled and took the kids into hiding, they'd have stopped him from getting a gun to start with. Problem solved.

Actually, the seem to have notified the police, and part of the process is having the suspect evaluated by a psychiatric professional before the police can go to a judge to get the court order to pull the guns and list the guy on the prohibited list...so, the guy was already in the psych unit, had been evaluated, the shrink notified his miltary unit, they called the cops.....so they already had the psych evaluation that would have allowed them to go to a judge........and they didn't.......they dropped the ball...and are now going to be sued into oblivion.
The government didn't enforce the laws on the book, again?

NRA-ILA | Massachusetts: Anti-Gun Bill Passes House

H.4135 re-writes gun laws in the Commonwealth and imposes unprecedented gun-control. This is an ominous bill that includes the worst anti-gun legislation in the country, including:

  • Widespread bans on commonly owned firearms,
  • Eliminating due process through expanded “Red Flag” laws,
  • Implementing new “safe storage” mandates in and out of your home,
  • Instituting expanded gun registry
  • Placing an extreme financial burden on gun-owners to price them out of being able to exercise their Second Amendment rights,
  • And much more.

And here again the lefts push to ban law abiding citizens 2 nd Amendment rights at every turn

Actually this kinda shit happens all the time. In 2019 one neighbor shot the gas range in his kitchen and started a fire. Claimed he dropped the gun. Two years before that the police arrested the same guy for shooting in the air on new years eve. That time with a rifle..

Gun nuts are called "nut's" for a reason.

the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.......who are the PEOPLE mentioned in the second half of that amendment joe?....
The ones in the Militia mentioned in the first half that you guys always ignore.
