No, you would have to have the firearm shipped to a dealer in YOUR State, who would then do the transfer.

No one may legally travel to another State and buy a handgun and take it that day.

ALL handgun sales must be transferred to you through YOUR local State dealer.

Without exception.

That's a Federal law.

OTOH, I can go to that same show, buy the handgun, and take it with me.

Because I am a Nevada resident.

Too late for me to do that now, I need to finish out my working career here, and then I'm definitely out of here!

When my folks moved here in the 70's, Oregon was a really simple place to live in. Virtually no gun restrictions of any kind, it was inexpensive to live here, there were thousands of homes under $20K, wages weren't great but super-easy for one working person in the household to buy a home and raise a family. Now it's becoming over-regulated like California, VERY expensive to live in, and no chance now of Republicans and or conservatives to run any segment of the state's lawmaking and enforcing.
It's a lost cause, and not a good place to move to.

Because in OUR States we can. In OUR individual States there are laws that exempt CCW holders from having to undergo a BGC.

YOUR silly State doesn't have that type of law in effect.

March 18, 2022 at 9pm. It was a Friday night. I'd just arrived at our shipping terminal to pick up a trailer. I was walking my dog to go find the trailer. (rather than burning expensive diesel to drive around and go find it.) He came out of nowhere and shot me 6 times.

The new law makes it illegal to buy, sell and manufacture certain types of semi-automatic firearms without passing two background checks, obtaining a permit from a local sheriff's department and completing a firearms training course certified by Colorado Parks and Wildlife.

This unnecessary, ineffective, and unconstitutional law will do nothing to reduce gun-related violence in Colorado.
Every state with an 'assault weapon' ban will enact a law like this, once the SC overturns said bans.
The goal of the anti-gun left is to make it as hard as possible for the law abiding to exercise the right to keep and bear arms - no one wonders why.

They should also include an ulrasound requirement and force the state to show people murdered by guns before any forced purchase.

There are other ways of tracking you down. There's a police report for that day provided you went to a hospital.

Trust me, to an experienced data miner, that's more than enough. You gave cornholio date, time, number of times you were shot, and the fact it was a truck terminal.

Nah, like I said, nothing online about it. It kinda upset me. Because where it happened the town brags about being so safe. But I checked their website, on that day, nothing mentioned of my shooting. No wonder they LOOK safe. I've googled my shooting in every way possible, even knowing the trucking company name, etc. Nothing comes up.
