Mayorkas said there was no border crisis for 3 years, but then, all of a sudden, he said there was one and blamed Trump.

What changed?

Was it going from 4 million across the border to 8 million? When can we use the word crisis, or is it just when blue sanctuary cities start to cry?

What changed is that voters say there is a border crisis and they can't ignore it anymore. So, obviously, it was Trump's fault.

"He said, ‘I’m going to put forward a legislation,' a comprehensive immigration legislation that was introduced more than three years ago … and [Republicans]," have failed to act, Jean-Pierre said when asked if President Biden bore some responsibility for the collapsed deal.

Later on, Fox News’ Peter Doocy pressed Jean-Pierre on the matter.

"So, you guys talk a lot – including today – about how the border wouldn’t be such a big deal if Congress would have just passed your immigration bill on day one," Doocy asked. "Who was in charge of Congress on day one?"

So the Do nothing party of Benedict Donald is trying to impeach him for not using the Faux Not New's (Lies are not really news ya know) approved verbiage for the situation at the border? Is that right? Gosh if only he had used the term "Crisis" everything would be all better and the GOP and he would be all happy together riding their unicorns into the sunset.......so happy!

Both Biden and Mayorkas lied to the American people when they continually claimed the border was secure.

Thankfully, Abbott exposed the lies by bussing the "border" to cities around the country, that showed the American people what was actually going on!

They say Trump has more power over Congress than the sitting President, which is why they blame Trump for the failed immigration legislation. I guess Trump does this in between his myriad of court cases as he fights for his political life.

No matter your opinion of Trump, he is a leader no matter life's situation and even when out of government, as where Biden is a shuffling vegetable.

No one cares. Pass the bill.

The sanctuary cities blaming the federal government just prior to a Presidential election certainly was a driving force.

Conservatives don't care about a bill that does not address border security.

Only if the border is secure does an immigration bill make sense because if the country has no real control over who gets in, in the first place, immigration policy does not matter.

So, no bill offered without a border wall will be accepted.

It’s a conservative bill, sacrificed on the altar of election year shenanigans.

He wasn't the only one. So did at least DeSantis and even Hobbs in AZ. Meanwhile American citizens have had mega billions of resources they paid for with their taxes taken away from them and have their persons and property at much higher risk to care for the millions upon millions of illegals Biden has invited into the country.

And Trump lied about sending the 12 million back. Why do posters keep acting like it's ground hog day with bill murray reliving the same thing over and over.

I do have a hard time believing Lankford would negotiate a bill that would make it worse, though. But neither party tends to get shit done when they're jockeying for places at the trough

Remember when Obama went on television and said again and again and again etc. that if you like your insurance policy you can keep your insurance policy; if you like your doctor you can keep your doctor? All bald faced lies for millions of Americans. The ACA was one of the most disastrous pieces of legislation with the most far reaching negative consequences that Congress has ever passed.

For three years now Biden, KJP, Mayorkas et al have been telling us over and over and over that the border is closed and secure and there is no migrant invasion crisis. All bald faced lies and even they now admit there is a serious problem and it has existed for many years. The now dead immigration bill was even more disastrous than the ACA as it would have made it legal for the government to allow 1.8 million migrants a year entry into the U.S., would have given them the right to stay in perpetuity and a path to citizenship while most of the money in the bill would go for administration and the security of other countries. And it would have continued to drain resources from the citizens that the taxpayers pay for.

All Americans should thank the GOP for killing it for now.
