  • James Carville told the Times that "preachy females" have chased some men from the Democratic Party.
  • "The message is too feminine," he told Times columnist Maureen Dowd.
  • Carville is particularly worried about voting trends among Black men, who could decide the election.
"A suspicion of mine is that there are too many preachy females" influencing the party's direction, Carville told Dowd.

"'Don't drink beer. Don't watch football. Don't eat hamburgers. This is not good for you,'" he said, describing a sort of condescension he believes has turned away some male voters from the Democratic Party.

Carville sure seems to come out from under his rock every 4 years. Is he suggesting Democrats have a bunch of "preachy females"?

If a male isn't able to stand his grounds via reasoning towards a "preachy female" then he is most likely a dumb Republican.
Furthermore, what makes you believe that a female or any person that objects towards "drinking too much beer", "too much football' and "too much burgers" is a democrat??

You forgot navigation systems which all seem to be a female voice.
Again, a woman telling you what to do.

Hmmm, well, who wants to stand their ground with a "preachy female"?
Next, you're suggesting the "preachy females" are Repubs and chasing the men away from the Dems?

Men don't support the fag party. Only male liberal simps do.

The "voice" isn't telling you what to do - but is giving you directional ASSISTANCE as to how to reach your desired destination and even "informs" you, about breaking e.g. speed limits.
And any person is free to ignore that directional ASSISTANCE and driving information. - later don't complain.

I think reacting to women is ingrained in us. Saying "Your butt does look big in that dress" has consequences.

Yep, I'm sure the "preachy women" aren't telling you what to do, they're just trying to help you.
