It seems to me that it is a serious folly to insist that government must remain neutral with respect to Godliness vs. Godlessness, good vs. evil, reason vs madness, or to assume that it is in keeping with the intent of the First Amendment.

The intent and the effect of forcing God out of the public discourse, of forcing good out, of forcing reason out, has been to allow Godlessness, evil, and madness to completely take over the void thus created.

The latter does not need to take place under the name of Satan, nor under the names of false gods such as Baphomet, to very clearly be the religion that represents such.

Ultimately, there is no middle ground. You are either on the side of God, or you are on the side of Satan. Government is either on the side of God, or it is on the side of Satan. There is no neutral position.
