Democrats? Hello?

The days are going by here, the mid terms (usually a good time for the opposing party) are inching closer, and I don't know if I've ever seen one of the "major" parties this shy, meek and quiet. I'm seeing absolutely no clear, strong, focused message coming from the party.
I get the frustration........here comes the but. Agree or disagree that a strong, consistent message is difficult to craft when every single day there are outrages equal to or worse than they before. With the knowledge tomorrow could bring something that is catastrophically bad.

Definitely one of the benefits of "flooding the zone". There's no chance to deal with any of the raindrops in the hurricane.

This is why we have to break it up for the voters... Create a team of stars, every time we saw Pete, we knew he is going to talk about transport... He knew transport and he spoke with authority and knowledge on the subject...
Fox News viewers knew he knew more than anyone about transport and this knowledge created trust. They listened to him, he was humble but firm. Regular America love this approach...

He energised the Democratic base... He was in the lion's den and showed no fear just knowledge and respect...
A lot GOP people might not agreed with him but the respected him...

Now do the same for Transport, Health, Tarrifs, Immigration, Policing, Justice.... Everyday talk about how it effects normal people... Have the same team on Joe Rogan and the other social outlets...
Handle but pivot away from the wedge issues that GOP continuously want to talk about... Say to them straight, I know you want to talk about that but it doesn't put food on the table, it doesn't hale class sizes and kids getting the education to get a job, does it provide the medical care people a screaming for?

Start playing football away with the proper team... Each team stay on topic (within their brief)

Is the Democratic Party 2026 strategy going to be to point at the GQP and hope that's enough? I really don't think that's a great idea. What's going on?

I know that at least 75% of the responses to this question will be trolling from the Right, but if anyone has anything constructive to identify, that would be appreciated.

The Midterm Loss Rule: What Do Voters Expect in 2026?
I'm not sure they have a coherent message, other than "Look, that guy is nuts, and we're not" and that is not going to win them any new voters.

What the Democrats suffer from is leadership, they don't have leaders, whereas the GOP has an absolute ruler who everyone in the party kneels before. That's going to be a challenge for Democrats, no leader versus a supreme ruler. Is there anyone who can step up? Democrats have always allowed 80 year olds to be their leader, and none of them have connected with voters over my lifetime.

Republicans are the same, but their message of God, Guns, and Gays is at least easy to see for the muppets in middle America

I'm sad to say that's my guess too. We went from being the "Shining City on a Hill" to an untrustworthy, isolated, predatory nation in just weeks. This has nowhere near played out yet.
Only in the minds of the TDS infected, such as yourself. The rest of us appreciate a President that puts America's interests first

Neither the Dems nor the media have ever understood how to deal with his behavior and temperament. He is absolutely unique and can't be treated or covered like a normal, intelligent adult. He is the modern day King Joffrey, and they're absolutely terrified of him. He gives the media objectively easy material to work with, but they know they if they do, they'll completely lose access, they may even lose their license now, and that could make things even worse. It's an impossible situation.

And yeah, add to that the fact that the country is now essentially existing in two separate and competing realities, and there may not be an answer. I understand the Dems' conundrum, but it sure looks like they're just sitting there for the most part.

I figure by the end of the year we'll be living under Martial Law, enforced by the military & controlled by Hegseth, who's a first class lowlife, on par with Trump.

Yea, we can tell that by the millions he's collecting with that Bitcoin grift he's running. Btw, why is Trump keeping secret the foreign "investers" who he met with in secret last night?

Good

Keep saying that. There is your agenda. Worked so well before.

Keep up the good work.

Yeah, with these absolutely blatant crypto pump-and-dump (Trump & Dump) scams he's been running, he has learned beyond any shadow of a doubt that he's untouchable. I don't know how, but he is.

This is now a kleptocracy as well as a burgeoning autocracy.

In America. Go figure. I would have bet anything against this happening here.

As far as I'm concerned, Bernie Sanders and AOC are the only part of the Democratic Party that still matters.

And Sanders isn't even a Democrat. Although the party would be much better off with more people like him.

They don't give a shit what you think. They know you're going to vote for whoever has a "D" behind they're name, no matter how despicable they are, because you're a brainless twat.

Both party's stink.
Few are working for us
(the largest part of the population, with the least big money or political power)
Get a grip, look with a more open mind, Facts NOT PROPAGANDA.

Bannon's right in that "flooding the zone" works, particularly in politics. There's just no way to give any raindrop in the hurricane serious attention, and he knows it. I also think that's just the way Trump is naturally -- non-stop chaos and showbiz.

And in fairness, it may just LOOK like the Dems have gone radio-silent by comparison. But your thoughts point to doing things differently are good, and that's the Dems' only chance right now. Maybe they need to pick a central figure to rally around.

But the issues that are their weaknesses have to be addressed. The Dems damn near handed the middle class to the GQP, and it has to start there. They have to stop dividing Americas into "identities" and CLEARLY focus on what motivates everyone.

The question is whether it's too late. I don't want one-party rule by either party. That obviously doesn't work.
We have more than one party rule for a reason!

I agree the major group posting here don't even want to touch on the CRYPO deal, wonder why?

You got nothing good, tard. America's going to tell you to fuck off, k? That's where you're at. Reality.
Democrats have desecrated the office of The President of The United States.
They're not coming back, at all. There will be criminal trials for them cheating an election and installing a puppet so they could run a shadow regime in our country. And the chips will fall where they may, but we're going to try to get justice done here, and that will involve serious things. Your dumbass will cry "fascist" when in reality the traitorous criminals are being prosecuted for crimes they knowingly and willingly committed against all Americans.

Jesus H. Christ, this is the most vile byproduct of Trumpism.

Extremely toxic, both in its cause, and effect, to say nothing of ignorance.

They've created an entire world based on the wide range of conspiracy theories that circulate throughout their ecosystem, complete with a full roster of both specific and vague villains. And in real life, just like here, they can recite all of it like it's second nature. Without even taking a breath.

It's like watching kids play Dungeons & Dragons, where they're speaking English, but it's all just concocted as they go and absolutely unintelligable.

We're in a fuckin' zombie movie.
