Republicans suspected that the FBI had non-Agents in the Capitol, and wanted to know what they were doing there. Wray stonewalled them. Now we know:



"We now know that 26 'Confidential Human Sources,' were at the Capitol on January 6th 2021 and that at least 17 of them did something they were not authorized to do, like going into security areas of the Capitol.

At least not authorized on paper or at least the paper did not get into the file.

Why didn't Chris Wray just say so, it it was nothing nefarious?
