Democrats challenge postmaster general on legality of USPS monitoring mail-in ballots

The Postmaster General has no legal authority to withhold delivering the mail. They do not get to throw a temper tantrum just because a judge rightfully struck down an illegal Executive Order by the president. The president is not a king.
Never heard of mail fraud laws?

You mean like operating under the auspices of the USPS to deliver fraudulent ballots across state lines?...Or maybe like private contractors in unmarked vehicles, not the USPS, delivering "mailed" ballots?
no i dont mean like that...

Postmaster General David Steiner told a congressional panel Wednesday that under President Trump’s mandate requiring states to provide lists of voters who received mailed ballots, the Postal Service won’t deliver ballots in states where officials refuse to comply.
I imagine, if there are not lawsuits already, there will be multiple ones inbound presently. The mail service selectively mailing items based on nonmail criteria can't withstand judicial scrutiny.

Nothing selective. The EO simply says that if the State doesn't give us the list to help us prevent fraud, you can't use the USPS

Thats not the purview of the Postal Service, as he himself admitted. Again that would have to legislation, not an EO.

My bad, a court already blocked him this morning.

Judge blocks Trump order demanding Postal Service restrict mail voting

Federal law requires states to maintain accurate voter rolls. If the states choose to use the USPS, I don't see any reason why the Federal government cannot use the USPS to enforce that law.

Evidently the courts have already disagreed with your analysis.

Gee, a District Court Judge hating on Trump. How unique
Hating on an unconstitutional EO anyway. Its nice to see Separation of powers actually working.

Imagine otherwise when the Dems come to power. They could just selectively block red states, or even better, block rural service in red states, thus throwing the vote swing to blue voters. That would have been next.

Not sure how the Executive enforcing Federal law is "unConstitutional" THen again, I don't subscribe to the "but, but TRUMP" school of Constitutional analysis

And what Federal law would they have relied on? the "Red States are poopyhead" law?

The Federal law governing creation and management of the US Postal Service. I am sure you can review the case injunction if you so choose.
The ruling:

Neither is the judge a king.

15th post
the topic was the PMG....you said...Never heard of mail fraud laws? ......i said the postal inspectors handle fraud not the PMG....
And they sued the PMG because the inspectors report to the PMG. I'm not sure the point you are trying to make.
