guy, i can't have a conversation with you if you don't even bother learning basic facts.

Biden 2020 - 81,283,501
Harris 2024 - 75,017,613

Difference - 6,265,888

Not 13 million.

Trump did get 3 million more, but how many of those were first time voters, people who switched from the Democrats, or people who switched from third parties is up for debate. (The Libertarians, for instance, dropped from 1.8 Million to 600 K between elections.)

But let's argue why people didn't show up for Harris.

Well, first, she only had 100 days to get people invested in her.
A lot of people probably didn't bother to vote because they weren't in swing states or had important Senate elections.
Maybe this country is too ******* racist and sexist to elect a black/Asian woman.

I don't make excuses for the DNC. They made a lot of stupid mistakes. They should have had Biden drop out in 2023, and rallied behind someone like Newsom (who is doing a masterful job trolling Trump). Instead, they looked disorganized and unprofessional, and shame on them.

But America knows what Trump is, and elected him anyway. As he proceeds to wreck the economy and dismantle democracy, we have no one to blame but ourselves.
