Democrats, Baptized With A New Name

1. The Zohran Mamdani Democrat party stands for abolishing private property, socialis/communism, anti-Semitism, and raciism.

2. Mamdani has been enodorsed by many mainstream Democrat officials, includidng the governor, and pleasant phone call with Obama.

3 "Last night at a rally at the United Palace, socialist Democratic nominee for New York City mayor Zohran Mamdani addressed his supporters.

4. There is something special in this room tonight. It’s power. It’s the power of hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers united, ready to usher in a new day.
It is the power of a movement that won the battle over the soul of the Democratic Party."

5. You've heard that this is no longer your daddy's Democrat Party.....or JFK's either, for that matter. There is no longer any doubt whose it is: it's Karl Marx's.

How ya' gonna vote
I think the real question is why are extremists on either side of the aisle doing so well. They are essentially saying the same thing, the status quo is broken and the system needs major revolutionary change. Revolutions are dangerous, evolution is the smart way to go but the sides are not willing to compromise any short-term power they have. The shutdown is a perfect example of the GOP refusing to negotiate and just sets the stage for when the Dems come back to power and feel they can do the same. Old proverb: the tree that doesn't bend will break.

Show me where the Dems ever bend?

Kind of like when Obama told Republicans to “get in the back of the bus” right?
Absolutely wrong. Just take Obama's signature legislation the affordable care act aka Obamacare.

He let the republicans gut many features in the original legislation in order to garner their support. And in the end, they gutted sections of the act, and still didn't vote for it.

So recalculate your claim that Obama didn't work with republicans.

Kind of like when Obama told Republicans to “get in the back of the bus” right?
Wrong. In October 2010, while campaigning in Las Vegas, Obama used a driving metaphor to describe the Republican Party's role in the government's economic policies. He said Republicans "drove the car into the ditch," and after Democrats pushed it out, Republicans were now asking for the keys back. Obama concluded, "If they want to get in the back seat, that's OK. But we're not going to put them behind the wheel".

Trump has done nothing bipartisan. He doesn't want the Dems to bend, only bend over and say thank you.
As long as the republicans hold the white house, the house and the senate, not to mention a 6-3 in the supreme court, Trump doesn't need democratic support, only the loyalty of every republican.

It's hard to understand why people think socialism or communism is superior to capitalism with a Constitutional Republic with a bill of rights of the people. Most sane people living in our society don't leave. But, when Biden open the gates to America, 15-20 million people poured in from mostly dictatorship countries in South America as well as other places around the world and they don't want to leave.
Indoctrination in the universities creates these manipulated socialists. Let them experience it in NY. See how long it takes to change their minds

Bullshit, he jammed that shit down Americas throat with a midnight vote….And remember, we couldn’t see what was in the bill until we passed the bill…what utter crap.

One of the few similarities between now and the 1930's is the tendency for so many people to assume that democracy doesn't work and the only choices are extremes of right (fascism) or left (Marxism). In both the latter, it is essential authoritarianism that is being considered. There is painfully little suggestion that "other", something or things different might also be possible. Especially, the underlying economic paradigms that bind the debate about the options are almost never examined for genuine re-evaluation. We know so much more now than in the past about psychology that we surely could conceive of other realistic approaches to value, self-worth and incentive.

That is exactly the attitude that has shutdown the gov't. Thanks for proving my point.

They’re winning. Republicans are losing.

Mandami will be the next mayor of New York.

Palestinian support grows stronger as support for Israel grows weaker, and Christianists aren’t even a footnote

Recent reports on voter registration and candidate recruitment provide a more current look at party strengths:
  • Voter registration shift: Between the 2020 and 2024 elections, Republicans gained 2.4 million registered voters while Democrats lost 2.1 million, a net shift of 4.5 million in the 30 states that track voter registration by party. This trend is considered a "crisis" by some Democratic strategists.
  • Fundraising disparity: For the 2026 election cycle, Republicans are outraising Democrats, especially among mega-donors and in key House battlegrounds.
  • Google

In national elections the word "communist" is a killer.

Take the Affordable Care Act

It’s worth noting that many facets of the Republican’s health care agenda at the time made it into the Affordable Care Act. The Affordable Care Act was a private market plan, and it dropped a long-held Democratic priority to include a public option.

For example, 788 amendments were submitted during the ACA’s markup in the Senate Committee for Health, Education, Labor and Pensions committee (HELP). Three quarters of them were filed by the committee’s Republican members,
Of those, 161 were adopted in whole or revised form.

In the end, no Senate or House Republicans voted for the Affordable Care Act in its final version.

Its a reaction to the Latin Americanization of the US economic system where 1% controls and owns all the assets., Next up will be the start of true revolutionary movements.

Also a GOP lie as there are NO communist Dems I know of. Democratic Socialists like Bernie, yes, communists, NO.
Republicans intentionally conflate communist and socialist.

Knowing that all the cold war teachings (remember Senator McCarthy) which made "communist" the worst thing you could be.

I hope you are amenable to a request that you support your words, above, specifically about extremes on the Right.
Fascism claims are nothing but hyperbolic.

And extremes? The only extreme by Trump is what I wrote about yesterday....I hope you will read it..

I can list lots of extremes by the Democrats/Left, now baptized as communists.

Can you? Or would you rather retract your claim?

Which of your assets are controlled by some bete noire?

Which freedoms/options have been taken from you.

And....watch your spelling this time.

How about the extralegal murder of unidentified foreigners.

You do nothing but lie, Herman the Vermin.

I proved the communism in the OP
