Sens. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., Ed Markey, D-Mass., Jeff Merkley, D-Ore., and Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., sent a letter Monday to U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland, urging him to take action against the fossil fuel industry for making climate change a "non-issue" and costing the United States trillions of dollars.

This is what happens when you are old as dirt and have nothing else to do. Folks bitch about the lengthy congressional recesses but we should look upon them as a blessing.

What they fail to realize is the government (fed and state) makes more tax money off of fossil fuels than the people who produce it.

Ain't weaponized Bureaucracy great?

If it works against Trump, why not?

Soon the DNC will put in jail all of their political opponents.

Only then can we have utopia.

Buncha whiney fucking idiots.

The defense....

We have two and only two measures of atmospheric temperatures, satellites and balloons. Both showed NO WARMING with high correlation despite rising Co2. Then, your honor, FUDGE AND FRAUD took over.

For the satellites, they claim "orbit wobble" as an excuse to fudge a flat line into an upward slope, and their excuse is laughable given IR gives the same results regardless of distance.

For the balloons, another obvious fraud, the "shade issue." They claim the balloon thermometers were affected by shade that was CONSTANT THE WHOLE TIME. If so, it would justify a constant adjustment for the whole series, whatever the variance, but WOULD NOT change a flat line into an upward slope.

Data is data.

Their theory is that increasing atmospheric Co2 in the atmosphere would warm the atmosphere.

The two and only two measures of that said WRONG - THEORY REJECTED

Your Honor, science is science, and this case needs to be tossed out....
