I'm 82 years old. I was a hard boiled Republican the first thirty years that I voted. I voted for Eisenhower, Goldwater, Nixon three times. I even voted for Reagan the first time. The modern Republican party wouldn't spend a dime to see a piss ant eat a bale of hay. Tax cuts is the only thing they stand for. No wonder the greedy assholes would like to see a flat tax. That would be a 25% cut in their taxes right off the top. They ride in their limos, live in their mansions, and think everyone should kiss their ass.......just because they have money.

The first thing this country should do is fix it so that anybody who wants a good education can get one. Then....with a level playing field we'll see just how good those who are well healed can handle themselves. Not very well I suspect. Most of them have trouble wiping their ass.

1st What GOP laws suppress voters? Are you talking about the effort to remove deceased voters, voters that have moved out of state, voters that are illegally registered, and voters that are registered in more then 1 precinct??

2nd. How many times do you have to be told, Gerrymandering has no impact on federal Presidential elections. States count the whole voting population to decide the POPULAR VOTE for said state! They do not just count count the number of precincts/districts that voted for whomever. If what you assert was the case, then votes for a minor party would not be counted.

But you won't pay any mind to the facts because it might ease your butt hurt. You're too comfortable in your misery

The tax cuts and borrowing from foreign banks is why I quit voting for the Republicans. I was a dyed in the wool Republican for thirty years but that was when they actually did some things for the common man. Eisenhower proposed and initiated the Interstate Highway Program. It's been over thirty years since they did anything for ordinary working folks. They cut taxes for the wealthy and borrow from foreign banks to cover their spending....that's where the national debt came from:
