Definition of the terms TREASON and TRAITOR

Technically no. They did not want to overthrow the government. They did not want to harm the sovereign. They wanted to separate and no longer be a part of the existing government.
they didn't own the land, so sorry, technically bullshit, they were traitors.

You can have any opinion you want. The fact is they did not want to replace the federal government, merely separate from it.
It’s exactly what they wanted. How else did a confederation come from? Replacement was exactly their intent

The fact reality is all the labels lib loons apply are when someone is trying to sell out this country to another country
Libs have universally misapplied the terms to this rag tag bunch of buffalo horns making noise

A large portion posters here seem to think that any political act of which they disapprove makes one a traitor or guilty of treason. But, they do not. See if you can see what is lacking:
A TRAITOR is someone who commits TREASON.
Treason:
US Constitution, Article III, Section 3, Clause 1: Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.
