Fitton: The FBI Recovered 72,000 Pages of Clinton Records; Court Orders Explanation of Processing
"This is all a slow-motion cover-up, and it is being conducted in a department allegedly reporting to President Trump.
The State Department just revealed in a federal court hearing that it has yet to process 40,000 of 72,000 pages of Hillary Clinton records that the FBI recovered last year. The revelation came in our Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit seeking former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s emails that were sent or received during her tenure from February 2009 to January 31, 2013.
The hearing, which took place last week, focused on the State Department’s progress on processing the tens of thousands of emails Clinton failed to disclose when she served as secretary of state, some of which were emails sent by Clinton aide Huma Abedin that were found on the laptop of her estranged husband, Anthony Weiner."
That is, according to the FBI, THOUSANDS of official documents not turned in to the State department AS REQUIRED BY LAW, each document / e-mail in violation of both the FOIA and the Federal Records Act. (Each document / e-mail = 2 Criminal counts.)
"The State Department has processed 32,000 pages of emails so far, only a small number of which have been released, but 40,000 pages remain to be processed.
AT THE CURRENT PACE WITH WHICH THE STATE DEPARTMENT IS 'COMPLYING' WITH COURT ORDERS TO RELEASE ALL OF HILLARY'S E-MAILS (AND EVEN THEN SOME WILL BE WITHHELD), ALL OF THE E-MAILS WILL NOT BE FINALLY RELEASED UNTIL 2020."
